I’m a big fan. From the parking lot I was a little unsure what to expect because their sign references modern cuisine and wine. Entering the restaurant I was immediately impressed by the beautifully designed space. I would describe it as ultra-contemporary Thai meets romantic steakhouse vibe. The restaurant has a great sound system and a modern mix of music played at unobtrusive levels. The visual and auditory experience blended well to make for a great dining atmosphere. Menu is Thai-fusion with a lot of dishes that were unfamiliar to me as connoisseur of Thai food. The specials of the day included Thai-themed sushi. I ordered the hamachi (yellowtail) served with ponzu, fresh Thai peppers, and a small piece of fried plantain for crunch. Amazing. Ordered Pad Kra with ground pork and added a fried egg on the top. Very flavorful. Great craft cocktail and wine selection. I ordered Thai beer to wash down the spice level I ordered ( 4 on a scale of 1 to 5). The restaurant prices are not cheap, but they are a good value based on the quality and quantity of the food served. Definitely going back.

Delicious! The flavours are so good!! I’ve been here for dinner before but today we came for the lunch specials which are $15.

They come with a side of two small fried taro rolls and a soup of the day, which was a veggie soup today.

We got the ginger beef, chicken pad see ew and drunken fried rice. It was quiet, I loved the ambiance and the decor in general.

Definitely recommend.

Such a cute place.. great for a meet up with friends or a girls night. They even have a front patio area that’s super cute to hang out.

We had a big party and were there to celebrate.. the ambiance was nice and place clean and well kept. Food is amazing…. some of the very best I’ve had.

Now… the service.. I felt the staff was not friendly.. They were rushing us and would pick up and rush the food out.. it’s like they wanted us out in an hour. Mind you it’s a dozen of us… and we are out to celebrate… so we will naturally take our time and enjoy.

Overall I recommend the place and I will definitely visit again. The food was top notch..
Service definitely needs to be a bit more friendly.

My wife and I had reservations on a Saturday evening, but there were many open tables when we got there. We were seated promptly and drinks arrived very quickly.

We tried a variety of dishes, including the green beans, Tom Yum soup, eggplant, chicken broccoli and a shrimp curry. Of course we had lots of leftovers.

The service was fast. Very fast. Actually, too fast. It felt as though we were being rushed. I highly recommend you don’t order all your food at once. Order your appetizer, when you’re done, order your soup, when you’re done, order your main dishes. If you don’t do this, you’ll end up with your soup and main dishes sitting on the table while you’re eating your starter.

The staff were very friendly and constantly checked in on us.

As for the food, it was good, but the spice levels were very inconsistent. We ordered everything medium (choices were mild, medium & hot) but that’s not what we got. The soup, I’m sure, was “hot” and the chicken dish was “mild” (and bland). The rest I would say was “medium”.

Knowing what I know now, I’ll probably try Lamaii again.

Best Thai in LV. Henderson loc is nicer than Chinatown loc. Food is always excellent. Service can be a little slow.

I’ve visited both locations more times than I can count. Unfortunately, during my last three visits to the Henderson location, both the service and food have noticeably declined. Additionally, the booths are quite unappealing, with stains and a general lack of cleanliness. If the dining area is in such condition, I can’t help but wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen that customers can’t see. Moreover, the silverware is often dusty, and during my last visit, the waiter placed it down, touching the parts that go in our mouths with his bare hands.

We had an excellent lunch here. There are many items not on the typical USA Thai restaurant menu.

One of the better atmospheres of any Thai place I’ve been too! Very nice facilities. The food was mediocre. Not bad…. Just not memorable. Lacked authenticity or any special touch. The veggie soup and spring rolls were bland and no good. The staff were friendly and we were thankful they were open on the holiday. Wouldn’t return.

Mother’s Day Dinner at Lamaii Thai Food.

This Mother’s Day, my family and I decided to celebrate with a dinner at Lamaii Thai food in Henderson, and it turned out to be a delightful experience from start to finish.

The moment we stepped into Lamaii Thai, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The decor exuded a casual yet charming vibe, setting the perfect tone for our evening.

As we perused the menu, we were immediately drawn to some of their signature dishes. We started off with the Tom Yum Goong soup, which was a burst of flavors—spicy, tangy, and absolutely refreshing. The balance of lemongrass, lime, and chili in the broth was spot on, and the generous portion of plump shrimp added a delightful touch to the dish.

Next up were the garlic green beans, a simple yet incredibly tasty side dish. The beans were perfectly cooked—crisp yet tender—and infused with just the right amount of garlic flavor. It was a wonderful complement to the other dishes we ordered along with chicken fried rice, and it did not disappoint. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, with generous chunks of tender chicken throughout. The flavors were well-balanced, and each bite left us craving for more.

Throughout our meal, the service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our evening.

As we finished our meal, we couldn’t help but reflect on what a wonderful dining experience we had at Lamaii Thai food. The combination of delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and excellent service truly made our Mother’s Day celebration special.

In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend Lamaii Thai food to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Henderson. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply craving authentic Thai cuisine, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
