My kids love hot box because of the tootsie rolls and I love it because of the hippie crust, Totally tricks me into thinking My pizza is healthy, which I love.
So many great combinations of Pizza. We love the party foul and the hot chix— Obvious chicken-on-the-pizza fans here.

I tried Hotbox pizza again tonight and it was THE BOMB!!! Just as I suspected, their pizza is delicious when it has an appropriate amount of sauce! I have no idea if my review had anything to do with the improvement but I will definitely be going back regularly and recommending Hotbox to others. GREAT PIZZA!
This Hotbox location is extremely stingy with their pizza sauce. It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. Almost every time I’ve ordered pizza from here there was an absurdly small amount of sauce on the pizza. The first couple times it happened I literally thought someone was pranking me.
One time I ordered a pizza for takeout and I got home and found that the pizza literally had no sauce at all on it. They had just forgotten to put sauce on the pizza! They were nice enough when I called and offered to remake the pizza. I hadn’t been back for a couple years and decided to try again today because aside from the lack of appropriate sauce their pizza actually tastes really good.
I ordered takeout online and selected extra sauce. I checked the receipt when i arrived and confirmed that the extra sauce was documented. I got it home to again find that the sauce was so sparse that more than 50% of it had no sauce.
At this point I am genuinely curious if it’s just the apathy of their employees, or if it’s their business model to save money by skimping on the sauce. It’s absolutely mind boggling. It’s also a shame because their sauce actually has great flavor.
I don’t think I’ll go back because this is just the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced from a restaurant. I simply can’t imagine why a PIZZA restaurant would routinely put so little PIZZA SAUCE on their pizza’s.

Staff was extremely friendly. From order to being served was less than 5 minutes!!!! Pricing is extremely competitive for the area! Pizza was soooo fresh and yummy. Definitely recommend especially if you’re on a budget!!!

We came to Indianapolis for a little weekend fun with the kids. We arrived late to the hotel so we decided to just order pizza. Hotbox had decent reviews and was open late so we decided to give it a try. We ordered and the guy was easy and pleasant on the phone. He said about 50 minutes but it got to us in like 35 minutes. The food was wonderful the whole family ate and really liked it different from the normal domino’s or pizza hut. Much better flavor.

We stopped in for a light and easy lunch. The cups, plates and napkins made us chuckle. We ordered a small aloha pizza and drinks, and it was the perfect amount of food for a light bite. There’s a parking lot (off of north S Ridgeline) right beside the restaurant with access to a front and back entrance to Hot Box. There’s a nice patio area, but we opted to enjoy the AC.

Me and my boyfriend come to this HotBox pizza all the time NEVER had a problem. But these two employees was extremely RUDE. We ask if we can get our pizza a skinny, the employee with the Hat on Loudly Slam his hand on the counter. Me and my boyfriend just look like really? Then as we are watching them make our pizzas the employee with the blue jacket on and blonde hair has NO GLOVES on NO HAIR NET, she rub her hands through her hair and dug in the cheese to put it on our pizza. Ask the cashier for a manager on duty RIGHT AWAY .. And it’s her! So disgusting. She replied that she wash her hands more than any employees there?. Which is saying your team members are all dirty. As me and my boyfriend are managers we had to educate this so called “manager” on food sanitation. Which teaches you that when getting your food handlers certification. WE WILL NEVER COME TO THIS ONE AGAIN! YUCK We ask for a refund and she continues to get even more rude.

Staff here is excellent! From the moment we came in there was someone paying attention to us. We were able to take our time with the menu and discuss options even on a busy Friday night. The pizza fairly decent and the price was excellent! And the entire family large pizza bread sticks and drinks for around 20 bucks.

Service was okay and so was the food but the I witnessed a Manager I assume with glasses and a Bennie throw a pizza across the kitchen in anger and he yelled at the other employees with myself and others in at the counter area. This is very unprofessional and I would hope this isn’t a regular occurrence. Please let your employees know that anger is for isn’t for the work place and you’re not going to make it throwing things and throwing a tantrum.

I’m a fairly critical reviewer because I expect quality and I expect to get what is advertised and what I ordered (I also work hard for my money!). Seems a bit too much these days. But, I’m a fair reviewer as well. We’ve been ordering at this Hotbox for the last three months and it has been amazing!!! The skinny crust is incredible. We do like it crunchy and have to put that in the special instructions. But wow, they nail it and they do not shirk on the toppings, and the ingredients are really fresh. The pizza is always hot and fresh when delivered. I have to say, it’s one of the few places that gets our order right and doesn’t “forget” anything, i.e. cheese sauce, etc. They also certainly have the best breadsticks and cheese sauce. I never thought that HotBox would become my go to here in Carmel for pizza as there is a lot of great competition. Keep it up and we’ll keep ordering! Thank you!

Went in on Saturday wanting to place a pizza to go. Was totally ignored by one lady whose name I still don’t know because she didn’t bother to reply when I talked to her. I thought she was just too focused for a second so I waited. Yet I waited for nothing. There was a gentleman around too and he didn’t check on us either. Ended up not placing the order, left and went some place else. I heard the pizza is good there, unfortunately I’ll never know.
