This is the spot to go to for comfort food. If you order through the app, you get rewards and good deals. I love the sweet heat sauce. The restaurant is conveniently located a few miles away from downtown Hartford. I always receive excellent care and amazing customer service from a staff member named, Jeanalyz.

Don’t trust this place with any orders. I ordered a 16 peice family box, which is supposed to come with 3 large sides and 8 biscuts, and they only sent 11 tenders. No biscuts, no sides, other than the extra we got just in case this happened. It’s almost impressive how much they were able to screw up an order. They didn’t even give us napkins. Never order from here. Spent 80 dollars on this by the way.

I made a quick pit stop at this Popeye’s location. The prices are typical of Popeye’s. The staff was nice. After paying for my order, I was told to park out front and that my food would be brought out to me in a minute or two. In reality, the young lady was out with my order in less than a minute after I parked. The Sandwich was made well and tasted good.
The only knock on this location is the neighborhood, but nobody bothered me, so…

I never ever leave reviews but this lady had me very upset!!! Extremely rude and unprofessional staff especially the lady with the blue hair. She was really arguing with customer’s back and forth like a child. She was rude and mean to some little boys trying to order food for their mom. I’m in the food industry myself so I’m very passionate and big on customer service. I’ve come in contact with rude people before but she is by far the worst I’ve ever come across. She needs to be replaced asap. Will never ever go back to this Popeyes on Albany Ave. Also I’ve attached pictures of the mashed potatoes. container wasn’t even filled and the coleslaw I’ve never seen Popeyes coleslaw look this before. Looks like they ran out and had to grab a bag of store bought coleslaw and made it themselves. I was scared to eat it. How are you gonna have rude staff and effffed up food smh. I spent damn near $50 in there.

I really enjoy visiting the Popeyes on Albany Ave. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the staff are friendly and quick to serve. If I could give them zero stars I would. Everytime I come here they either don’t have sauce or the fries aren’t the same. And it’s been about 4 times over a span of two months. So that means they have been inconsistently serving false advertised food and expecting people to pay full price for it. And don’t get me started on the chilled lemonade. Taste like they just put lemonade and a whole bunch of strawberry syrup on top. Smh now I won’t mind driving to Flatbush or Windsor ave to other professional locations!!!

I’m a loyal, daily customer who typically stops by this Popeyes location for lunch. However, today’s experience left me extremely disappointed.
I placed an order for a 3-piece combo totaling $15.12. I was short by just two cents and kindly handed the cashier $15.10, expecting some understanding, especially as a regular. Unfortunately, the drive-thru employee refused to complete the transaction and said, “I can’t be 2 cents short, so you can’t have it.”
This same staff member has waited on me in the past and consistently displays a negative, unwelcoming attitude, as though she does not enjoy her job. Today’s refusal over two cents felt less about policy and more about poor customer service.
In today’s economy, losing even one loyal customer over something so small reflects poorly on the business. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and considers re-training staff on customer service and discretion. As long as this is the experience being offered, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
Thank you for your attention. I truly hope to see improvements, as I’ve always enjoyed the food—but customer care should match the quality of the meal.
