Although the customer service was really good, food was horrible. Fish was extremely salty and when I open my platter, I was very disappointed about the portion of eggs. It was literally two Tablespoons wasn’t worth the money at all.

The place is really clean and seems to be under new management. The new folks are really kind and provide great customer service. The western omelette and cheese home fries were delicious!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food is absolutely delicious—everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I’ve recommended this spot to several friends and family members, and they’ve all come back raving about how much they enjoyed it too. Highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Disappointed that new management did not keep original recipes from the first owner now the food isn’t the same (and not in a good way). The first owner was the son of the couple who owned the store next door, I used to go there in the 80s and 90s whenever I visited my grandmother. When the owner’s son became an adult they split the store and opened Jake’s Place and kept the convenience store with reduced inventory. I used to drive an hour once a month to Jake’s Place for the pancakes, fish and grits w/cheese. I will certainly miss the way the food used to taste.

Customer service is bottom tier. I walked in and greeted everyone, only one person responded. The food is very much not good. I ordered fish and grits, the oil that the fish was fried in was clearly old which made the food extremely nasty. At this point put me on the stove because the chef clearly can’t cook!

Customer service is bad. Their energy be so low they don’t greet or smile. I don’t feel welcomed. The food is not that good. I was also waiting for like 40 min and after the 40 min they forgot something.
