I overheard some people talking in a local bank about Motown Nate’s and I was very intrigued. What more can I say other than it was lunchtime and I was hungry. I love trying new BBQ places and this was awesome. The only downside is they close for the winter. Get it while you can!

This place was great with a food options for everyone! A must try are the fries! They are hand cut and huge. My song got the mushroom Swiss burger and it was legit. You will definitely be bringing home leftovers from here. There is plenty of outdoor seating and also there is a teepee that has picnic benches in there for indoor seating. The people working here were really friendly and even asked if all our food was good. We didn’t get the BBQ but it smelled great. My daughter is an extremely picky eater and she even found spaghetti here which she loved.

Outstanding food and customer service. Dog friendly is an understatement, they brought out a water dish for our Lulu and even gave her a hotdog. The brisket tacos were fantastic and my girlfriend really enjoyed the brisket Mac and cheese and those gigantic hand cut fries are truly special, wow! Plus Coke in a glass bottle and we got to eat in a tipi. It was a perfect last day to our yooper vacation.

Good old fashioned food truck. Our family stopped in while we had to go by the border of Canada.
The hand cut fries are authentic and delicious. The street tacos were good. I tried a coney dog which was authentic and yummy.
My kids all had hot dogs which they inhaled and made wife had a hamburger which was very flavorful and she enjoyed it a lot.
I would drive 4 hours again to get here but if I was in town I would probably stop in again.

Wow, this place is awesome. They have a smoker going right out on the street. Its nice the owner is from Detroit, as I am from Windsor, its like a friendly face up here in the north. Although everyone is friendly up here! They have amazing smoked brisket and pulled pork. The gyro meat is frozen, its meh. The BBQ black bean rice bowl is fantastic! Have fun eating in the tipi! Husband had 2 of the chili cheese dogs, said he could have had 4 they were so good! Daughter had the nachos and I believe the chips were homemade, really crispy, but GOOD crispy! We will be back and highly recommend!
