Habit Burger Grill was so good. I ordered a salad and the chicken was soooo juicy and flavorful, it was perfectly cooked and not dry at all. Everything tasted really fresh and seasoned. The sweet potato fries were delicious, but the tempura green beans were definitely my favorite. On top of the food, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Shoutout to Michael for being kind and making the experience even better. Great food and great service. I’ll definitely be back.

I want to start by saying that the food itself is good. However, corporate leadership needs to take a serious look at customer service training at the Denver, NC location.

I placed my order using the self-service kiosk and chose a family box, assuming it would make things easier. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty after 1:00 p.m., the order took a long time to come out.

When we finally received the box, I immediately noticed that my husband’s burger was incorrect. I brought the box back to the front counter, and instead of an apology or even a willingness to review the issue, the employee’s first response was, “You placed the order wrong, and that one doesn’t come with cheese.” There was no attempt to listen, no courtesy, and no acknowledgment of the mistake.

As I calmly explained what the burger was supposed to include, I was met with continued attitude while she wrote down the corrections. She then told me they needed to remake the entire box and took all of our food back, leaving us waiting another 10 minutes.

When she returned, she brought only the burgers—which were still incorrect—and said the sides were coming. Another 10 minutes passed before the sides arrived, and they were also wrong. At that point, we were done. The food was incorrect, the wait was excessive, and not once during this entire interaction did we receive an apology or even basic courtesy. When the food was dropped off, nothing was said at all.

It took a lot for me not to address the attitude directly, but I felt a review would be more appropriate. Customers should not be treated poorly for expecting to receive what they ordered. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable or dismissed when there is a legitimate issue.

I sincerely hope corporate reviews this location closely. This is not the first time I’ve heard concerns about staff behavior here, and it does not reflect the standards one would expect from this brand.

We came at the tale-end of the lunch rush around 1pm. Parking was tight in front, yet there was plenty of parking in the strip-mall lot. Of course, parking opened up as soon as we placed our order.

The restaurant and bathrooms were fairly clean. However, they ran out toilet tissue in the women’s bathroom. My wife had me stand guard while she used the men’s bathroom.

Now, my wife thinks im being a little harsh. Yet, I felt the burgers and fries were average. Yes, they were better than McDonalds and Wendy’s. Yet, I think a Hardee’s thickburger and Arby’s burger are better. With that said, they did give a generous portion of fries. Yet, you could tell they were under a heat lamp for a while. Overall, it was fine. Yet, I would make a special trip.

Would not eat here again. We dined in and used kiosk because counter girl ignored many customers. I saw one man walk out as he wasn’t waited on. Another couple she didn’t greet but talked on her headset to other employees. Mind you they weren’t that busy. Our order was also incorrect and had to wait 25 mins for my shake after they forgot it. When I asked them they’d handed mine to drive thru. Remade but gave me wrong one again. Almost just asked for money back. Girl at counter had no name badge on. We’re here at 11/26/25 at Early afternoon

They took over an hour and a half for the food and it came with cheese melted on it when my partner has a dairy allergy (not lactose intolerant, an allergy) and by the time we got it, because it took so long the kitchen was closed and my partner was only able to eat his side and we were only refunded for his burger…

So after reading some of the reviews most of them were on service. I thought that was great. It was the food for us. The only things me and my family felt were edible were the fires and onion rings. The burgers and chicken we had just tasted really bad. None of my family or myself finished any of the food. This was our first time there and will not be back.

Food was fresh . Place was clean . Service was good and quick .
What do you expect from ordering from an app and waiting for your food to be picked up and or delivered. Obviously it’s going to get soggy. No difference then ordering nachos and going to pick them up from a restaurant. Y’all would have been mad if you showed up and it wasn’t ready either . You are the people that people can’t please .

I really like the concept of a California style burger. But the other day when I went to this restaurant there was something terribly wrong with the beef. I ordered it as part of a $10 sampler deal special. It included chicken nuggets and half a burger. The burger itself had a nasty flavor and I regret the 3 bites that I ate of it. It would be my guess that some kind of organism was growing in it that multiplies. I was unable to get rid of the flavor for several days. Had to throw away a couple of toothbrushes and continued burping it up and it’s been several days. I’ve been chewing on cloves in Hopes that it will clean me out. I think a lot of customers will be walking around with some sort of parasite now that is almost impossible to get rid of out of the body.
