I don’t know why they act rude to food delivery people. Very rude behavior. When I went to pick up the order they talk in a very rude manner. We are also workers like they are . We move their food to their customers. We all are part of food industry yet still they look down on us. Not recommend .

This was the best fast service Hawaiian BBQ I’ve ever had. We ordered the Kailua Pork and Chicken Katsu and they were both delicious. The pork was really juicy and tender, very flavorful without too much salt. Additionally the fried chicken was really tender and “clean”, clearly fried with fresh oil.
The proportions were great for the price. Unless your absolutely starving I suggest the “mini” size is plenty big for full meal as it comes with rice and salad.
We ordered our food thru DoorDash out of desperation because it was getting late and we couldn’t drive anywhere from our motel.
Turns out we made a great decision, our food was hot, fresh, and delicious.
Thanks! I definitely suggest giving this place try, great take out. 🙂

Menu was clear, staff are nice & busy. Was skeptic to order a Hamburger, but I did. Hamburger was great. Good size french fries. My daughter ordered chicken strips with side order of potatoe salad & drink. Fair prices.

Consistently good food at reasonable prices in a great neighborhood spot. Portions are generous and the staff is always friendly. Variety of offerings available. We have been coming here for years and very happy that the pandemic did not force them to close because we look forward to many more years of satisfying our cravings for “ono grinds”

Don’t recommend this places. Workers are rude and treat you with no respect. Its one of those places where you go and they just keep and eye on you like you’re about steal something, or a place where you are short 50 cents they will cancel your whole order because you’re short. Plus they say 10 minutes it actually took 19 minutes. Go down the street less than a half mile to Hawaiian Drive-in, way better Hawaiian food and much affordable.
