ANF Gyros and Grill

Was in the mood for a Gyro, do had to check them out today. Place was pretty busy, but we got oor order pretty quickly. The Gyro was really good – meat was flavorful and I added some of the hot sauce, which took it to another level. Also tried the shrimp po’boy – really liked the shrimp, but could’ve used another piece of lettuce to even it out (just sayin’). I was surprised by the fries – a little crunch on the outside and soft on the inside, and not greasy Cool little lunch spot to checkout, for sure.

This was our first time here & the food was good.its called anf gyros and they only have one menu item of gyros.
There menu covers everything from seafood to meat .we had a gyro,wings ,crab legs
Only complaint there was too much sauce on wings & way too much butter with crab legs .get it on the side
We enjoyed our lunch

Update: I’ve eaten here so many times and we have never been disappointed. I just want to give the review an update to reflect that I’ve NEVER had disappointing food or service.

Delicious! We keep coming back. It’s clean and fresh. Haven’t had a bad experience yet. The taziki sauce is 4/5 but still delicious. Not worth giving up a whole star

We aren’t big fans of Gyros, so we were hesitant of trying this restaurant. I am so glad we did. Their menu is extensive, they have so much to offer beyond gyros. I ordered the boneless wings with buffalo garlic sauce, which was excellent. My hubby ordered the cheesesteak, which was huge and also just as good as the chicken. The prices are very reasonable & the portions are generous. The inside is decorated with Crystal River themes. We were very impressed & definitely will be returning in the near future.

We had an awesome meal here. Best chicken wings I’ve had in a long time. A little crunch to the skin, plenty of tender meat on both the drum and flats. I chose the garlic butter wings and they really didn’t disappoint. Served with fries. Husband had the large Shrimp with fries and again he really enjoyed them. We also came home with two gyros and heated them up the next day. They are packed with delicious meat. We’ll certainly be back soon.

Went for lunch today around 1 PM on a Saturday. Places is brand new so it was very busy. The Philly cheesesteak was amazing and the fried okra was good. My wife’s fish sandwich was massive and she liked it, but it was a little bit too salty overall this place has tremendous potential with a lot of different food choices. We will definitely be back again.

Place just opened in last month. Citrus County has been needing a good gyro place. Gyro and fries were great, but the shrimp po boy… immaculate conception! Expect this place to stay busy.

Ordered the philly with a side of fried okra. Throughout my life I’ve had hundreds of cheesesteaks, not a single one of them had tomato or lettuce on them. So you could understand my shock when I bit into this cheesesteak and I had a hot piece of lettuce and tomato in my mouth. Definitely a shock to the system, Don’t say I didn’t warn you. The okra was really good!

I’ll start with the Good…very reasonable prices, friendly staff, the portions were large (definitely could’ve made 2 sandwiches with gyro meat), gyro meat was delicious and carved right off the spit, Tzatziki sauce very good, fries were ok (nothing to write home about), chicken sub delicious (fried version). Now the not so good….fries melted to styrofoam container because there was no paper put down to prevent this, also soggy by the time I reached home (cut a small hole in container to prevent this), tomato and onion where soggy (almost cooked) because they were put on the bottom of the meat instead of on top and lettuce was also soggy and wilted but this can easily be fixed with a little thought, the place was not very clean, kitchen floor very dirty, dining area very dirty and rug’s filthy, service was pretty slow but I believe this is due to being under staffed. With some better quality control I would have given 5 stars. I will be returning and am looking forward to trying some another menu items. The price for 3 people 3 meals $40
