Decided to try this place based on the Google reviews. Wow what an authentic Dominican experience. The moment you step into this place you feel transported to the D.R. it was fitting for their menus to be a passport. We tried the beef empanadas, grilled chicken and mofungo. Everything was outstanding! We were greeted and customer service was amazing! The beautifully decorated inside is a must see, its not your average Latin restaurant!

The atmosphere was amazing, it was like a time capsule of Dominica Republic, filled to the brim with culture. The music, the decor, even the how they served the food was true to the DR culture. I loved that. The food was absolutely amazing, It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a restaurant and actually ate everything. The food was amazing and the service was fast. Customer service was top tier our waiter Elba ensured we got our orders in and that we got our food quickly. Shoutout to Elba for her wonderful customer service.

Saw an Instagram ad for this place and decided to come and try it out. I came earlier in the day before it got traffic heavy and I was able to come in quickly be seated right away. The menu looks awesome I wish I could try everything. The restaurant itself is extremely vibrant it’s super bright and festive. It definitely felt like you were on a vacation. The music and atmosphere is full and energetic. Service was solid. My food came out hot and was delicious. For an appetizer I did the fried cheese with the guava, entree was rice, beans, and fried eggs and dessert was the Dominican cake(served warm) . All the food is delicious and I enjoyed it. Definitely plan to come back to try some more of the menu.

We started with the chicharrón tostón baskets and queso frito, and wow… demasiado bueno. Perfect way to start the meal. For the entrées we ordered Mar y Tierra and El Obelisco, and both dishes were packed with flavor. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly.
And of course we had to end the night bien dominicano with El Morenazo for dessert. It was the perfect sweet ending.
Between the food, the service, and the whole atmosphere, everything was on point. Definitely coming back. Gracias again to David for the great service!

Yanaissy our server was phenomenal! We asked questions and she guided us around the menu and helped us make our selections. We were all thrilled with our food. The red snapper was a standout! Excellent dining experience VERY lively. You step in and you are in the DR for your dining experience. great for groups & celebrations!

We are visiting and came across this place for Dominican food. It was excellent. We then had Alba as a server and could not have asked for better service. She was prompt, informative and so engaged on making sure we had a great experience. Then the food came out and it was amazing. The music & the decor was just a little piece of home.

Perico Ripiao Latin Food is truly a gem! The food was absolutely amazing — full of flavor, authentic, and cooked to perfection. The mofongo in particular was outstanding, easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere.
The service matched the quality of the food — friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. To top it all off, my República 5.0 beer was chilled perfectly and paired beautifully with the meal.

Food was very yummy, personally recommend the Yarao. All the waitresses are very attentive, we had a really good experience with Yanette. If you’re looking for Dominican food with a good atmosphere this is a great spot. A live band also plays sometimes 🙂
