I had no idea I was about to eat the best cheesesteak I ever had in my life. I’ve had them from everywhere to. I don’t have to look any further. This place is highly highly recommended. Everybody in my family agrees. This is our new go to place for grinders. I’m definitely trying the other sandwiches as well.

March 3 is opening day here at Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop. The sandwich shop is a great addition to the Shoppes at Susquehanna Marketplace and to the Harrisburg area.
Every customer was welcomed upon entering the sandwich shop, accompanied by friendly service and a chef’s kiss for my Philly Cheesesteak. My cheesesteak sandwich is fresh and made with good-quality beef and cheese.
I’ll be back soon to try a BBQ salad

The service and atmosphere were absolutely great. I can definitely appreciate the effort by the staff. The fact is you can season dog food all you want in the end. It’s still dog food and still taste like dog food. Might look Into suing, corporate for even calling that Wagyu beef. Because it’s not. Also Way overpriced. I’m not sure why you would even have a chain restaurant like this in Pennsylvania jersey or New York. Out West, you would do great because they don’t know a good subs or cheesesteaks are. But we’re Italian here. But we’re not mean like we used to be so your mothers won’t be getting smacked. Just a bad rating. Also, let’s get some men and women signs for the bathroom.

I wish I could write a review based on the actual food that I ordered however, since ordering was a nightmare, it never got that far. I did an online order and subsequently found an ETA for my food for three different times in three different places,, none of which were accurate, from two different numbers. I then attempted to cancel my order and there is no way to do that online. The message advises you to call the store number for any edits or cancellations. However, no one answers at the store number. I literally called the number nine times throughout the day And it was only picked up and answered one time and then I was given more inaccurate information. When we went over to the restaurant to pick up the food There was an unbelievable line inside and people said they had waited 40 minutes for their food, not happening! We left and I attempted to call the restaurant again several times to tell them I was not picking up the order no one answered. I thought perhaps it was because it was a rush-hour lunchtime however, I called back again at four in the afternoon and still no one picked up the phone. I never picked up the sandwich. And somehow, even though they can’t answer their phone, they can manage to charge for items, not picked up and never bothered to find out why even though I Had called to get an ETA directly from the Manager( the one time someone answered)Just a frustrating experience and I definitely will not be back.

We were excited to try a new restaurant and I was a little disappointed. Service was exceptional and the cashier was very friendly and patient as I asked her about their popular sandwich ,The Bobbi.
They had a cold and a hot one so on her recommendation, I ordered the cold version. There are 4 sizes of their subs…mini, small, medium and large so I ordered a small.I was disappointed in this version,namely because there wasn’t much meat and the sandwich was overpowered by the density of their rolls. The Bobbi is made with real turkey, whole cranberry sauce , filling , and mayonnaise on a very dense roll. My partner had a Grilled Italian sub which he said was a good sub. They have good ,crunchy French fries which we reordered. We saw many customers come in for pickup but their are a few tables to sit if you wish.

UPDATE: I received a call from the manager after posting my one star review (below). I was given an apology and offered a redo to make things right. I am opting not to accept a redo as it should have been made right the first time. We will be using other local shop’s for our sandwiches (like Bellia’s and Sandwich Man).
ORIGINAL POST: I decided to order my afternoon meal at their newly opened (Harrisburg) location at Susquehanna Shoppes. I used the website to place an order for pick and chose a cheesesteak blt, which is advertised as 25% more meat, and a large French fry. Picked up the order, got home, and prepared to dig in. Such disappointment! The bread is very thick and chewy. I opened the sandwich and discovered I was only given a simple cheesesteak. No “B”. No “L”. And no “T”. Very surprising they got the order wrong as there seemed to be about 8 or more workers behind the counter, but no one was obviously assigned quality control (ie, manager duties).
The French fries tasted like something I would buy at a supermarket frozen food aisle. Not impressed. No seasoning and dry.
I do NOT recommend this restaurant and will not be ordering here again.

Ordered the turkey sub with extra turkey not double and it was delicious. I’m surprised to read the negative reviews but we are ordering from them tomorrow night so there may be an update
