My first experience with absinthe, and what an awesome experience!! I loved this hidden gem. Very relaxing atmosphere and damn good chocolate. I was there with friends, but this is a great place to go on a date.

We checked this place out last Saturday and it was everything we’d hoped for. I’m currently adding an Absinthe program to a new concept I’m building and the gentlemen that took care of us (ashamed that I forgot his name) was a rockstar! He took the time to educate us on different techniques and the differences between Absinthes of different origins. We asked him to surprise us with chocolate and Absinthe pairings and he surely did not disappoint. If you are new to this world, have no fear. They have subject matter experts that can guide you through the experience. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!!

This was my first time, and I truly enjoyed the space. Jordan and Jeremy were the best. You can tell they LOVE what they do. Hand crafted cocktails, absinthe flights, and handmade chocolates to pair with drinks or eat alone. Lighting was low, nice intimate, or grab a drink with friends, and the music was great. Will definitely be going back again. Check them out.

Hidden gem. Took some friends there because I am a fan of absinthe and it’s a rare find in the U.S. The absinthe pairings were amazing, but their cocktails might have been even better. Truly inspired; run, don’t walk.

Original, imported Absinthe, fun atmosphere, and staff. This is considered a Speakeasy in Nashville. The location is in Germantown, and is a chocolate shop by day called Tempered Fine Chocolates. There is plenty of street parking right across the street. You can get an Absinthe flight, where you choose the flavors and pair with Chocolates for a tasting. The dilution process is quick and sugar cubes are provided to taste.

Tommy & Gena are both affable and knowledgeable. Helping me pick out the right drinks for me along with a great conversation. Came as a guest, left as a friend!

The Green Hour is a bar run on big ideas and thorough execution. Jordan and Jeremy run a tight ship and push boundaries in the way of mixology, food pairing and experiential drinking. The menu is reworked and has plenty of non-absinthe drink options for those who don’t like a licorice flavored alcohol. Odds are good it’ll be the best version of that drink you’ve ever had. The staff at the shop is a blast to hang out with and there’s always a diverse group of characters hanging out at the bar. I advise getting there early, because the place is very small and it doesn’t stay empty for more than a few minutes after opening, and seats don’t open quickly with the quality of product they’re putting out there. Be patient with the staff, they usually only run a staff of 2-3 people but work extremely hard to make sure everyone has a good time. If they could seat everyone, they would seat everyone. They’re extremely kind and tolerant, but they also have to work with a limited space. This isn’t a bar on Broadway; great things take time. As long as you go in with an open mind and the intent to try something new and exciting, you’ll have a great time.
