First time going and we will definitely be back!! The food had such good flavor and the customer service was outstanding.

You do have to order your spice level (they don’t ask and assume you want mild). The mild has zero spice to it. They have mild, medium, hot, Thai hot. We all got “hot” and I would say it’s about 7/10 for heat rating scale. VERY good.

Ratings for each thing we got… Chicken wings appetizer (10/10). Wonton soup (7/10). Dumplings (6/10). Pineapple friend rice hot (10/10). Pad Thai hot (8/10). Thai smoked Chili (9/10).

Would definitely recommend and go back again and again. Customer service (11/10)

It is BYOB and they do offer DoorDash

Passing through town after dropping one daughter off at camp on a Monday & I was craving Thai on the way home. Most Thai places are closed Mondays, but we were delighted to find Charm open, and boy did it hit the spot! We are from Baltimore, and I’ve been to Thailand, so I’m pretty picky when it comes to my Thai food. While not perfect (but not many places are!) and a bit pricey, Charm lived up to its name with a warm, inviting atmosphere, quick, friendly service, and delicious, large portions.
We started with Thai Iced Teas, Tom Kha Chicken & Chicken Satay. All were super sweet and delicious. My husband can’t handle spice, and the Pad Thai Chicken & Beef Drunken Noodles were perfect for him and my daughter. The Red Curry Chicken had just a kick & made my tummy happy! We shared all of them and left stuffed with lots of leftovers.

It’s our first time here. For lunch, we got the green curry and crispy fried chicken. Flavor was on the spot, the veggies were properly cooked. The fried chicken breast was crispy and not dry. The small bowl of soup that came with the fried chicken was very tasty. Paid total of $38 for two, not too bad.

Service was very good and prompt.

The place was nicely decorated, inviting and clean. the restroom was very clean and nicely decorated and spacious compared to most similar restaurants.

When we visit Harrisburg again, we’ll certainly come back and try the other menu items. The location is just across the river from dowtown Harrisburg. There’s enough free street parking.

I would say this is the best Thai I’ve tried in central pa. Hidden gem so sure. The service was excellent, I’m assuming she was the owner but she was so nice and welcoming. Very clean and nice inside.
As for the food we got the Tom Yum Fried Rice but substitute chicken inside of seafood and the Thai basil with chicken. Also a Thai iced tea. Both entrees were packed with flavor and seasoned well. Flavor and seasoning is something we struggle with here at any Thai restaurant but this place definitely did not disappoint. Since the Thai basil was on the more saucer side we had to order extra rice which added up lot! They should increase the portion of the side of white rice. The portions are quite big too but the price point for the entrees is on the higher end for sure. So not your average let’s get Thai food on a Friday night type of place. Definitely a fancier date night spot. Definitely would go back to try the other dishes!

We were gonna go to our original Thai place, but it was Monday and they were closed. So I did a Google search and Charm came up had pretty good reviews so I thought we’d try it. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. This will be our new place to go. Food was absolutely delicious. They knocked it out of the park. The service was accommodating and with a smile. I had the pineapple rice and it was heaven! You gotta try it. Don’t let this one pass by!

We had a great meal here with friendly service and delicious food! The Drunken Noodles with seafood were especially delicious with Thai-level hotness. The Ginger, mushroom, on onion dish with pork was simple and great tasting as well on of course they make a great red curry! Try the Thai sweet tea while you’re there. We are looking forward to our next meal there!

We loved the food. Server was very sweet. She was able to answer our questions about the food and if was delicious. We had the red curry (shrimp) and dish with chicken and broccoli and noodles (I forgot the name). We also had Thai iced tea it was life changing. I woke up the next day craving another. I will definitely go back soon.

We had an amazing dinner at Charm Thai and can’t recommend it enough! We started with three appetizers: Golden Shrimps—crispy shrimp served in sweet chili sauce, seriously addictive! Then came the fried calamari and veggies, perfectly crisp and not greasy at all, and a flavorful steak salad with just the right amount of spice.

For our main courses, we ordered the drunken noodles, Pad Thai, and Massaman curry—all packed with bold, authentic flavors. Every dish was cooked to perfection and so delicious that after snapping pics of the first two appetizers, we completely forgot to take more photos… that’s how good the food was, lol!

The service was superb—Joy was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We also loved the modern Thai-style decor and the TV screen playing beautiful scenes of Thailand—it added such a warm and nostalgic touch.

If you’re in the area and craving Thai, Charm Thai is a must-visit!

First time there for take out. Dishes were plenty. A little pricey but worth it. My only disappointment was the mango sticky rice. The rice was not sticky at all. It was watered down and soupy. Still had good taste but having the scoop of rice like I normally have when eating tai is much more enjoyable. Definitely not worth $9.95. The taekwondo classes held above makes for a noisy atmosphere while eating in. The building shakes and it can startle you if youre not expecting it.
