Wonderful surprise! The reviews are true, this place is fabulous. It’s got a great vibe, Paul and the other staff gave above and beyond service…and the food…fantastic. These photos don’t do it justice (my phone isn’t great), but everything was just flown in from Japan and was delicious. We tried many things we wouldn’t have known to order. Highly recommend. Don’t miss the pistachio ice cream for desert.

Have you ever taken a bite of something that ignites all your senses and transports you out of reality? A bite that you dream of and can almost taste when thinking about? Izakaya Three Fish does this for you.

Hands down the best omakase I’ve ever tried. It is pricey, but the experience is worth every penny.

They offer an ala carte menu with one-of-a-kind corn dogs, a delicious smashburger (best in town), and authentic Japanese dishes if you aren’t feeling a full omakase dinner.

Plus, their bartender was ranked one of the top 3 mixologists in Bozeman this year!

Go there! Don’t miss out! It’s worth it!

5 stars just isn’t enough. First, the service and vibe are just outstanding. Truly a one of a kind gem. Maddi and Paul both add so much personality and friendliness to the experience. Music is going and there is no pretense – just a focus on enjoying amazing food.

Paul is godsend to sushi in Montana. Pure magic. We participated in the Omakase and it did not disappoint. 3 hours of evenly paced servings. Watching Paul conjure up amazing art like fish.

Highly recommend if you are in Bozeman for a night. There isn’t anywhere else I’d rather spend the evening.

I hate writing reviews for places I love because, honestly, I don’t want anyone else knowing about them. But here we are. Izakaya Three Fish is that GOOD. A 12/10 across the board—experience, food, vibe. It’s $200 a head, limited seating (have to book in advance), and if you have allergies or are a picky eater, do not come here. Seriously, they don’t want you here (they make it clear on their website).

But if you’re up for the best culinary experience of your life? Buckle up. Every piece of fish is sourced from around the world, and the quality is untouchable. The chef isn’t just feeding you—he’s educating and entertaining you. Paul, Trevor, and Maddi made it feel like I’d known them forever. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience you’ll be chasing forever. Courtney and I will be back every time we’re back in Bozeman.

The drinks were phenomenal, the sushi was mindbending, and the “Jiro Dreams of Sushi-like Dinning Service” was out of this world. Paul, Trevor, and Maddi. Hats off. Much love – Tim & Court

First, disregard the 1 star review and enjoy this unique, truly epic culinary experience! I don’t know how to really put this into words without sounding like a foodie nut… but I’ll just say it’s the most memorable food my taste buds have ever come across. I’ve had magical meals in my life—/ this one is of “Chef’s Table” caliber, and Paul deserves to be glorified and recognized for what he serves up on the daily! The highest quality seafood, beef, vegetables, soups, caviar…. Just pure divine and perfect ingredients that Paul adds his creativity and mastery to. You can feel his passion in each serving. I can’t even remember how many small plates he and his staff gave me, but by the time we reached the homemade pistachio ice cream then dipped into Italian caviar, I couldn’t handle much more because my heart and soul was filled to the rim with sheer pleasure and appreciation. Paul, you’re a rock star! You can be rude and disgusting to me anytime, just serve me some good eats! Ha! And for the record, Paul was awesome to talk to, share stories with and learn a glimmer of his world! A sincere thank you! And all your staff were wonderful, too! Excellent team!

Wow. Most expensive dinner of my life by far but worth every penny. Once a year for me going forward but the Omakase was stunning. Paul is a genius.

Holy…this place is UNREAL. Service is unmatched, the food is STUPIDly incredible. Seriously, you cannot ask for better omakase. Have had it a few times from wonderful places and this is among the best. Also, the cocktails are out of this world. Serious skill on display here.

As someone passing through Bozeman for just two nights, I was fortunate to stumble upon Izakaya Three Fish. Though I dined alone and couldn’t snag an Omakase dinner (which seems to be the crown jewel of their offerings and books up well in advance), my à la carte experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Sitting at the bar, I was warmly welcomed by Paul and the rest of the staff, whose energy and kindness made the evening truly memorable. Their thoughtful service and fun personalities added to the experience, making me feel right at home despite being solo.

And the food? A perfect 10/10. From start to finish, the flavors, presentation, and freshness were impeccable. It’s clear this place isn’t just about food—it’s about creating an elevated, unforgettable dining experience.

If you’re in Bozeman, I highly recommend visiting Izakaya Three Fish. Whether you’re a local or just passing through like me, this spot is a must for a delicious and refined meal. Just be sure to book that Omakase in advance if you can!

This place is a joke: An Omakase dinner at iron chef morimoto’s restaurant in Vegas is $235. This place is laughable. The slices of fish here are see-through. The service is OK…not great. The bathroom made me vomit…and I’m not joking. I did enjoy the freshly grated wasabi! That was amazing.

After 3 wonderful evenings spent with Maddi and Paul, I cannot recommend Izakaya enough. Paul puts so much thought and detail into every single bite while Maddi shows off her expert drink making skills. What an unforgettable and perfectly delicious experience.
