Went in tonight for girls night. The atmosphere is gorgeous and has such a positive vibe. The drinks were amazing. The Pork Nachos I had were so good my husband squandered all of my leftovers, which were a lot, it’s an unbeatable price for the size..

Cute place right on the riverwalk. Outdoor seating as well as a nice clean indoor restaurant and bar area. The employees are friendly and the food is fresh and tastes good. We tried the fried pickles and they were really good and crunchy. The waffles are so thick! We tried chicken and waffles and the chicken was well cooked and the waffle was fluffy and good. The Monte Cristo was good and came with a spicy jam. Will come back to try more of the menu options. I also love the story behind this place being a tribute to a lost family member.

We spent the evening there and the prime rib was nasty and burnt, asparagus was like eating twigs, mash potatoes was cold like they just brought them out of the freezer, customer service sucked spent well over $80 worst prime rib we ever had, never go there again!

I am so glad you got back with me, we were there last night (New Year’s Eve). For starters, as soon as my friend first walked in she asked about the different wines and the male waiter never answered. Instead he brought something out she didn’t order. From there it just got worse. I posted a pic of the dinner as well as our conversation earlier from your f/b group page, which you deleted! Although hard to tell the mashed potatoes were cold as ice, the prime rib, was over cooked. We sent 3 of the 4 plates back to the kitchen and 20-30 minutes later the food was brought back with no change. No one ever checked on us or asked how the food was. We paid a $80 bill with no compensation to the bill. Since a comedy show was going on it was hard to complain, and I realize now we should have brought the situation to the manager, although the waitress DID know we were not happy! Unfortunately, we paid for a horrible meal which really put a damper on the entire night. I’d like to warn others to go elsewhere and not waste their time or hard earned money!

When we arrived there was only one server working, Julie, and while she kicked butt solo, there was still quite a wait. Other customers, and even Julie admitted that this place is “known for being slow”.

Service overall once helped is great. Julie is friendly, fun and engaging.

Two other waitstaff arrived as we finished our meal, they were also exceptionally friendly. The male, tall server, seemed to take quite the pride in the in house made flavors they use in their mixed drinks, showing us the different ones and sharing his favorite.

The other female waitstaff was also very friendly, and took great care of us as we decided to stay a bit longer.

Food was ok overall, not anything I’d go out of my way for.

Drinks were pretty decent and interesting as I tried their lavender Lemon drink they had for international woman’s day.

My recommendation to the owners would be to have menus accessible or on the table versus guests having to wait until the waitstaff brings them, or for staff to drop menus at the table upon first greeting them. Hopefully somewhat speeding up the service- especially when short staffed.

We sat outside as they offer seating close to the Riverwalk.

Our service was top notch. The food was amazing. I highly suggest the 1129 burger with pineapple. The seasoned fries were perfect. We sat on the patio right next to the Riverwalk. Beautiful back story to the restaurant as well. I really suggest supporting this local favorite.

Made reservations for Galentines Day and walked away disappointed. The only available items were the Galentines Brunch Boards, but this was not advertised anywhere I could find. The board consisted of 3 super thin cold pancakes, 2 pieces of candied bacon, a handful of yogurt covered pretzels, two mini Walmart cupcakes, a cookie, a snowball cake, a mini donut, a donut hole, some sliced strawberries and some scattered M&Ms. A plate full of sugar for $25 a person was a bit shocking to say the least.

My friend commented that it was what you would expect from an 8 year old who prepped breakfast for Mom on Mother’s Day. That sentiment was also shared by the table next to us. We told our table neighbors that we were heading next door to Angelo’s for some real food and they asked if we would bring them back something.

While idea was cute in theory, it was poorly executed. They should have offered a menu of regular brunch food for those of us that didn’t want to walk out with diabetes or for those with dietary restrictions.

1st picture is what was advertised on Facebook. 2nd picture is missing some pancakes and the bacon as they were given to my granddaughter before I took the picture.

We were in Pueblo for the day. We stopped in for a late lunch and drinks at 1129 Spirits & Eatery. What a great choice! We each ordered drinks and shared a salad. I cannot say enough good things about everything! The service was amazing (Audra was so knowledgeable and helpfu) the drinks were extraordinary (I ordered a lavender lemon drop and my husband ordered a blackberry old fashioned). Our salad was deliciou. Everything was meticulously crafted and made in house! You will not regret your choice to eat (or drink) at 1129 Spirits & Eatery! I couldn’t recommend more!

Tried this spot for the first time tonight for girls night and LOVED IT!
The vibe is super cute and cozy. Our waitress was so sweet, and made the whole night better.
Both girls working were on it as well! Fast, friendly, and answered all our questions about the special without hesitation!! They weren’t just taking care of their own tables either, they were helping EVERYONE. Drinks and food was delicious. Service was great and timely! Perfect place for dinner and drinks!!

I’ve had really disappointing experiences the last two times I’ve been here:/ the first bad experience was back in August when my bridesmaid party and I had brunch here. We waited a total of nearly 2 hours for our food while everyone else got served first even though we got there first just for them to tell us they were out of everything for their brunch. Then we were asked to order something from their regular menu then when we did it took an additional 30 minutes. I maybe thought they were having a bad day or short staffed but looking at these other reviews it appears there’s a common issue here. Then decided to come here for the galentines brunch. The photo they used to advertise this event seemed like it was a decently sized board that could be sharable amongst other guests. What was actually given was completely different from what was advertised at first, which was sadly misleading to myself and the party I came with. I guess it was an individual platter with items that didn’t seem worth the price of $25 for each of us to get on our own and decided to go to Angelos. I also feel like they do a lot of these promotions and little events all the time to help their business to the point where it feels like they can’t even keep up with what is promised and notice a lot of negative feedback. Another thing is I feel like whoever is doing their social media marketing uses a lot of AI in their captions, responses, and images and to me it just doesn’t seem like it’s coming from the heart and mind and just looks like there’s not much effort going into this. I really hope the owner takes this with a grain of salt and take this feedback to learn from it even when it’s hard to hear. They ask for help and support from the community and with times being tough and prices being high everywhere, many of us from the community want to help this business but find it hard to when it feels like our hard earned money goes to waste when we are not getting what we expect and pay for.
