We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. The service was friendly and the pizza came out fast and piping hot.
I loved the “snack” size option which allowed us to try several options. We picked Crab Rangoon and “Whole Hog” and both were phenomenal. I can tell I will be thinking about the Whole Hog for weeks to come. I really enjoyed the crust, it’s somewhere between thin and thick with a great chew.

Fantastic pizza! The crab rangoon pizza is my new fav, beat out fongs in des moines! Generous amount of crab with a perfect creamy rangoon filling base. Loved that sweet chili drizzle and this place has fab crust as well. Cant wait to come try the black cow hand dip ice cream!

We eat gluten-free and far and away, Joe has the BEST gluten free crust we’ve EVER had…the cheese was melted perfectly, the veggies crisp tender – sadly canned mushrooms though – in Independence the service was outstanding and the servers were very fun people…and don’t forget ICE CREAM ….OMG….so good! The best!

Our food arrived quickly and was started immediately after ordering. We had a group of 9 and the first calzone arrived within 10 minutes of ordering.

Pizza was good flavor, though greasy and the cheese had that rubbery texture vs nicely melted. We enjoyed the cheesy garlic sticks. It’s a small place with limited seating, clean enough and was good for a quick stop (maybe 10-15min wait at early lunchtime).
