The fish was fresh caught that day and really delicious. Pineapple fritter was the best i hand had. Everything was nice and crispy, chips were great. Fish was a little pricey but for fresh caught that day you can understand why and it was worth it for a treat.

I’m not one to leave reviews, especially bad reviews but wait time for 2 pieces of fish and small chips was an hour. Chips were soggy, grilled fish was sitting in juice, seamed like the food had been sitting around for a while. Pink snapper was yum though. I understand Friday night on a Australia day long weekend would be busy but you’d think you’d plan ahead. Maybe on a less busy night we’d have a better experience.

Honestly, this is hard to write because I am all about supporting small businesses – but this fell way short. $24 for 1 piece of grilled snapper.. and it was an absolutely annihilated piece of fish. Completely dried out and over cooked. The calamari: its batter was strange to be honest. Chips were OK, but how difficult is it to cook a chip? The worst part about this experience was actually the vibe in the shop. I hope that the owners see this and take the feedback into consideration. $77 for two pieces of fish, some calamari and some chips that were not cooked correctly in this day and age is absolutely not OK.

Ordered chicken nuggets for my very fussy toddler and was given some very delicious hand made chicken nuggets! Unfortunately my fussy toddler refused to eat them so the lovely chef cooked up some of her own children’s frozen nuggets. Amazing service and us adults thoroughly enjoyed the hand made nuggets!

Have had good fish and chips from here but on this occasion the fish (Hake) was dry and tough and the chips were under seasoned and very average. Handbattered squid were good.
Maybe ordering on a weekend effected the quality of the food.
