Been to this location a couple of times.
First time was great, this time not so much. Asked for extra roast beef at am extra cost of $3.50 and I can tell it didn’t have extra roast beef as it was small. I always order my sandwich with extra meat at the Valley Park location and it’s big.
I don’t feel the quality is the same a you get at the actual restaurant nor are the portions.
Not saying I won’t go back to this location, but I definitely prefer the Valley Park and The Hill locations more.

This place is amazing. Been going since I discovered the original on The Hill. My only complaint is this one is TOO CLOSE to my office, which makes me want to eat their TOO MUCH. Because it’s that good. Make sure you get your sandwich with garlic cheese bread. This sammy will change your life.

Gioia’s is one of my favorites when I passed through St. Louis. Their roast beef and hot salami sandwich. You will not be disappointed by this sandwich. Also let me encourage you buy one of the salami logs to put in the crockpot. Follow the directions and make your own salami sandwiches at home. It’s amazing!

The food is amazing, specifically the Spicy Dagget. I can explain how good this sandwich is. I’m from KC area, and always get one when I’m in town, sometimes one to take home. Maryland Heights location is just a pick up window, so hard to rate atmosphere high, but the original on the Hill is 5 star atmosphere. 100% recommend Gioia’s to everyone

Stopped there today after I was doing work at a local business. I asked my GPS where the closest food was and it sent me here. Gioia’s did not disappoint. I ordered the Spicy Daggett. Perfect crisp on the exterior of the bread with a nice buttery chew inside. The meat, cheese and giardiniera complimented each other perfectly. With the choice of meat, I really expected it to be a salty tasting sandwich. But that was not the case at all. Now that I know this is in the area it will definitely be my go to stop even if I’m just passing by on the interstate. Easy to get in and out of for a quick bite.
