I’ve also dined in and the service is amazing, the wait staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere feels like a little slice of Tokyo!
Come here for high quality sushi at a low cost, I love this place and you will too ♥️
Must get the Banzai speciality roll!
Give them a try and you’ll be happy.
Now I’ve gone quite a few times since their grand opening in winter 2024, I even popped in the first week they actually opened. I’ve dined in & done quite a few pickups & I’ll say their service is excellent. The staff were sweet & attentive, mind you, I go when it’s typically slower because their dinner service can get slammed since they get a LOT of to go orders in the busy times. I also recommend to everyone if you plan on order in takeout, be mindful that the wait times can go from 30 min up to like an hour/hour & a half because of the complexity of what you ordered & how busy they are.
On the weekends they do have more sushi chefs available which will help a lot, & they do phone notifications when your stuff is ready for pickup.
Also, the receipt photo is also what I paid the first time I came (it was two of us) & we went all out. On a typical order we’ll get a bunch of fresh sushi & pay around $45-$60 tops.
I haven’t actually tried their ramen yet because I’ve been obsessed with their sushi tbh. I’ll get to it eventually & post an update promise!
I went up to the desk first but the lady working at 5pm on Thursday told me to wait and then proceeded to speak in Chinese to the party behind me.
I was totally and completely ignored for the Chinese group. (I’m a black woman btw).
Whether it’s discrimination, I don’t care to speculate. What I DO care about is being treated fairly.
It’s a shame bc the food is really good. Please treat customers fairly! Serve people as they come.
Edit: apparently the server thought I was an Uber driver since I showed them my phone.
