Open seven days a week from 11am to 9pm, 113 Main has become a favorite among locals and travelers. Serving delicious and creative fare and tantalizing cocktails for happy hour and dinner, the cuisine exudes modern scratch American. Everything is made in-house from the pasta and gnocchi down to the beef, vegetable and chicken stocks. Fresh, in-season vegetables and proteins allow diners to enjoy a menu that changes with the season and the opportunity to try new dishes. A staple is the Citrus Pesto Gnocchi with Chilean Sea Bass; house-made gnocchi with fresh, skin on, wild-caught Chilean sea bass with an orange citrus pesto sauce.

The atmosphere is rustic with great energy and music that makes the whole place feel lively without being overwhelming. The cocktails were perfectly made.
My boyfriend ordered the lamb and the meat literally fell off the bone — it was cooked amazingly. I had the tuscan chicken and Patrick even let me substitute the side for another option, which I really appreciated. Everything tasted well above average and you can tell care goes into the food.
Overall it was a great dinner and we’ll definitely be back and super glad we got a server as great as Patrick. Make a reservation – you won’t be disappointed.
Bar has a lot of selection and were quick to bring out the drinks and they were adequate. I would just encourage the bar service to reinvent on the cocktail menu to hit (or riff off of) more of the modern classics like the paper plane, last word, jungle bird, mai tai, etc. or other more deliciously complex options and make the cocktail menu more prominant in the menu. I would also think about chilling the red wine more.
Food was fantastic and portions were generous. I especially loved the chimichurri steak and beet salad, they paired well.
The food was good, you could tell they put their heart and soul into it. The dressing for the steak and the home made pasta were the favorites.
The atmosphere was nice; it had a good vibe going on for a happy hour or date night, it was just a little cold overall , excellent spot
We had a reservation and were given a high top table. Servers seemed to be confused who was covering the table. Ultimately, it was supposed to be one of the bartenders. Pretty sure they forgot about us completely because it took way too long to get drinks and food ordered. Food arrived quickly but drinks never made it to the table. Finally asked a server walking by to check in on our drinks and she got them. No one checked in on us after that even though we would have ordered another round of drinks. Also wanted dessert. But the service took too long. There were two people at the bar and multiple open tables.
We just revisited Sandpoint last week but chose not to eat here.
We started with the Poached Pear Burrata, which set the tone for the evening—perfectly balanced in flavor and texture, with just the right touch of sweetness and creaminess. It was beautifully plated with the crushed pistachios & micro greens and even more delightful to eat.
For mains, our table explored a range of offerings, and every dish was a standout. My husband had the Blackberry King Ora Salmon, which was expertly cooked and accompanied by couscous. My sister-in-law opted for the Shrimp Special and could not stop talking about the sauce—she said it was one of the best she’s ever had.
My brother-in-law had the Duck Ragu, which he said was rich, comforting, and layered with deep flavor.
As someone with gluten and onion allergies, I was thrilled to find an option that didn’t compromise on taste—the chicken satay with chimichurri sauce was absolutely perfect. The chimichurri added a fresh, herbaceous brightness that made every bite satisfying. It was understandably small, as it was off the starters menu, so my only small regret was not ordering more.
It was an exceptional culinary experience for everyone and we will definitely be back very soon. I would be remiss not to mention our incredible server Hayley, who was kind, very knowledgeable and made the night seamless. Oh and the drinks! All I can say is YUM! The mixologists know what they’re doing! I don’t think you can go wrong.
113 Main is a must-visit spot in Sandpoint! We can’t wait to share this find with our family when we are back in April.
