I had the fried White fish tackle box. Everything was good. I debated between blackened and fried. I hoped to possibly get half and half or buy a small side but it didn’t see anything on the menu indicating either option was available. So I end up with fried and it was a hardy portion of fish. I thought the coleslaw was kind of plain with fruit added to it. Hush puppies very good, standard ok fries.

Tiny little space (off the main street through Ludington) where you go in, order, go back outside where there’s an outdoor area built by the town for hanging out. Even a fireplace structure in the center!
They buzz you to come back to pickup window and get your food.

We were able to order two tackle boxes online and the food was ready when I arrived at the restaurant.
Everything was delicious! I never had lake perch before and it paired well with the house made tartar sauce. The calamari was tender and fresh! I will definitely return for more fish!

The perch was awesome. Served with a cherry coleslaw, fries, and a hush puppies. The table also had the whitefish with the same, and chicken tenders. Everything was great. Took about ten minutes to make, and there’s nice seating, and a open space with cornhole. I can’t imagine anything here not being good. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious, counter fish & chip shop. We had 2 fried tackle boxes: one perch, the other walleye. We enjoyed our meals: portion sizes were good, fish fried just right, & the coleslaw was tasty. Pepsi products, bottled water, & cans of beer were also available. If the weather is nice, definitely sit in the square at one of the tables.

Ordered the blackened grouper tackle box. The fries and coleslaw were good, the fish had good flavor but it was super dense and dry like they are pressing it or using a meat weight on it. I was hoping for light and flaky unfortunately thats not what i received. Maybe try it grilled or fried instead. Place was super clean, staff was friendly, good selection of canned cocktails.

The fresh-caught Michigan fish is AMAZING!!! We tried them all: walleye, lake perch, and whitefish. My personal favorite was the walleye, but they were all delicious. The deep fried option was exceptional. Not at all greasy. Light and crispy. Outstanding fries and hush puppies! Can’t go wrong!

Absolutely delicious! Easy ordering, quick preparations, and delicious food. My blackened whitefish sandwich was perfectly cooked. I had it with the coleslaw which had local cherries in it! You can pick any sauce you want. Fries and hush puppies were both fantastic. We will be back!

Fast and friendly service. Good variety of perfectly prepared fish and sides. I had the smelt with hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw, and everything was delicious.
There is no indoor seating, but there are a number of tables right out front in a foot-traffic only area that has ample parking close by.
