These are the BEST donuts in Hickory! I can’t think of a better donut I’ve ever had anywhere else. We come pretty often to get a variety for our groups. My fiance loves the apple fritter and I love the cream filled ones. You gotta get there before they sell out though!

OMG the variety was amazing! My wife loved the fruity pebbles donut! I enjoyed the Samoa donut. Service was amazing but get there early to have the best selection!!

As someone visiting the town. I was told to check out donut life By multiple people. A quick Google search told me they opened at 6 AM. So I decided to run over and grab donuts for the team. Until I got there. No sign posted with alternate hours. I had to call and they told me we’re not opening till 8.

We LOVE Donut Life! The donuts are huge, always fresh & delicious! The only issue we have ever had is how quickly they sell out! The employees are always so friendly too! Go get yourself an apple fritter…you won’t regret it!
Okay, I had to come back and edit this review! The donuts are absolutely delicious…..IF you can get one!!!! 9 out of 10 times, they have run out of donuts! We’ve been experiencing this the last several months, so we decided to get up early on Saturday and get the order at opening time! We arrived at 6:04. No donuts. They were still making them. We waited OVER one hour and NEVER got the donuts we wanted. Seriously??? Please do better. If your hours are 6:00 am- 6:00 pm, have the product ready by 6:00 am and if you close at 6:00 pm, make enough product to maintain your hours. I used to always recommend this place, but I just can’t anymore. They need better management. Try Dixie Donuts in Wilkesboro! Stocked & just as delicious!

Definitely come early for the best selection! The maple bacon was great, the cinnamon sugar was tasty, but the pinecone is hands down my favorite! We’ll definitely come back again!

I walked in to get donuts. There were some boxes ready to be picked up, but not many donuts on the shelves. I asked for some donuts that were not on display, and the lady up front told me “ it’s going to be a wait because we had a late start.” My reply to the statement was, “How long until the donuts come up?” And her reply was “about 20 minutes.” I thought, I can wait with a coffee, but when I asked for a cup of coffee the same lady replied “ the water lines are broke, we have no coffee.” So, I decided to wait, in the meantime there were more people coming taking the few options given on the shelves. However, they continued filling up the orders for churches and DoorDash like giving them more priority than a walk- in customer. After the 20 minutes I took what they had available, pay for it and left.
I am not coming back to a business that doesn’t prepare accordingly to the day they are facing and to a place that gives priority to online orders and big orders rather than walk-in customers.

Looked them website said that they opened at 7 AM on Sundays. Got there a little after 8AM, There was a sign on the door that said would be opening at 9AM. Okay, so I come back around 9:20 AM. They were open, but all that was in the case was apple fritters. When I ask how long the donuts would be, the lady responded 20 minutes. Once again, I said OK I had to run an errand. Came back in 30 minutes. By that time there were apple, fritters, in like two other kinds of donuts. When I asked how long it would be for the maple bacon donuts, they replied 30 minutes. I told what appeared to be the manager that this is my third trip back. Would he please save me some maple bacon and donuts. He said sure give me your name and your phone number and as soon as they’re ready, I’ll be sure to call you. Well, guess what that is a phone call that never came. Their doughnuts are too expensive for customer service to be so bad and to care so little about their customers. Not sure I’ll ever go back.

There is plenty of free parking available. There was a line when we got there on the weekend. Staff was friendly and moved through the line quickly. The donuts were tasty.
