I have visited this place multiple times. The waitresses are kind and professional, and I appreciate their service.
Unfortunately, the owner’s behavior has been consistently rude and unwelcoming. On my last visit, she loudly told me that my four-year-old son was too close to the glass. My son has autism and struggles with balance, which is why he was leaning in that direction. He was not causing damage, and if anything had happened, I would have taken full responsibility.
The concern itself was not the issue — the way it was handled was. It was shouted across the room in front of other customers. Instead of speaking to me respectfully and privately, she chose to raise her voice and make comments about my children.
When a child with a disability is singled out publicly and treated with impatience or hostility, that is discrimination. Families with special needs children deserve the same respect and dignity as anyone else.
This was my last visit. No family should feel embarrassed or judged because of their child’s disability.

Good food, well made and can get a Mexican Juevos with beans and salsa, tortillas and hot sauce style if that’s your thing. Simple, unassuming tasty breakfast diner food with a Mexican staffed flair.

Omg the huevos rancheros is amazing! Also, their coffee is great as well. Great staff, great food at a local spot. My initial reaction was that this place is a no frills spot. Once we entered, ordered, and received our food, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I would recommend this place for breakfast.
Update 12/15/2020: went back and the owner kindly asked if I wanted steak on my huevos rancheros. Omg!!!! This is now my go-to whenever I come here for breakfast. It was a home run with the kids as well as they had the traditional breakfast sandwich.
Please note that the huevos rancheros got a bit of heat to it. I truly enjoyed it but the heat was too much for the wife. Staff is awesome and many customers here are regulars for a reason.

The best food and the best people! Consistent delicious food quality and service since they opened many years ago. I’ve had the owners of a few local Mexican restaurants tell me how much they enjoy eating there on a day off and get dreamy eyed talking about the chilaquiles in green sauce. Great friends and a great restaurant.
