Ive lived in NY and in LA this place takes me back. So authentic and full of flavor it feels nostalgic. The eggrolls are amazing and the Krab Rangoon is like crack, you’ll be addicted after one. The fried rice was flavor and they offer cold 2L – perfect take-out for a single or the whole family! The family who runs it are super nice, food is always hot.

Great food, terrific value. This place is a busy family run take out restaurant. I see other comments that they are rude but that has not been my experience at this restaurant in many visits over 10 years. They are cooking your food, packing it up for you so they don’t have lots of time for conversation but I have found them always polite. The food is amazing. Definitely try it.

Hong Kong Tokyo is surprisingly one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. I’m not sure if people in South Florida just don’t know what good Chinese food is, but coming from the Washington, D.C. area where there is great Chinese, this is the best I’ve found here yet—it reminds me of home. I’m surprised it only has 4 stars.
It’s a classic hole-in-the-wall dive for take-out only, with no interior seating and nothing fancy to look at inside. But the food delivers: standout dishes like the House Triple Delight and Shrimp Lo Mein are excellent. Nothing I’ve ordered has disappointed. The price is great to feed your family and the food is ready in about 15-20min.

This place has delicious Chinese food. Most places have crab rangoon but this place has superb rangoons! They are sweet and crunchy. They have Chinese-American food so lunch is always a great option. In addition they have good prices and they are fast!

Absolutely terrible experience. I saw them slam the door shut on a customer 40 minutes before closing, which is just ridiculous and disrespectful. The kitchen looks like there are roaches back there. One time, there was an inspector on-site and they weren’t letting anyone in, which makes you wonder what’s really going on back there. Overall, the vibe is toxic and unwelcoming. Would not recommend.

I recently tried Hong Kong Tokyo restaurant in Pembroke Pines, but unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. The special fried rice was edible, but the orange chicken was extremely tough—inedible, in fact—and the little we managed to eat made us sick. The honey garlic chicken was okay, but nothing exceptional.

I found myself a new Chinese Restaurant closer to me. The food was excellent. I had the crab Ragoon, they were delicious. I had the fried wontons and the wonton soup. The wontons held up in the soup making it really good. I will be back.

Terrible customer service. The staff acted like helping me was a burden, barely made eye contact, and had a rude tone the entire time. No professionalism or basic courtesy. I left feeling like I had done something wrong just for showing up. Won’t be back.
