For decades this establishment was a staple for the weekend party crowd in K-town often open till the wee hours of the morning. After the parents retired and the son took over it has gone down hill. I ordered a blt that I could not eat. Last I knew a BLT did not have salad mix including cabbage and shredded carrots on it. Have not eaten there since. Plus the hours are ridiculous.

Awesome Texas Hots! Best in the area. I stopped in for a take-out lunch today for the “Buy 5 get one Free”, they were terrific. The sauce tastes the exact same every time I stop in, it hasn’t changed since I was a kid in the 80’s and went there with my grandfather for lunch. The staff is always friendly and polite. This is a great diner and Kaisertown is “Lucky” to have it. Pun intended…

Food was good. #6 meal pancakes had to be warmed up and the bacon had to be bit crispier. I had the #5 polish sausage with peppers and onions with eggs toast and potatoes. Problem was some how I had cheese on my eggs that I didn’t ask for then charged me .99 for it. Too say the least I was not happy because I didn’t ask for it. Which I was still charged. Service was okay. If your in the mood for low cost and semi warm food it’s cool. Place was clean condiments separate. Oh and they were out of lemons for the water. All in all 3 stars on my scale.

First time here. Had a hot dog up. It was good. But not Seneca Texas sauce. Nice friendly atmosphere. I would go back again and try their other dishes.
I have been in search of the sauce that used to be served at Seneca Texas Hots at the Seneca city line back in the 70’s and 80’s. I remember Joe would line them up on his arm and prep them. The rolls were steamed and the sauce was amazing!
I did find the sauce and steamed rolls at the Buffalo bus station of all places! But it has since closed down. I’m still looking!

Decent place for breakfast with a definite old school vibe that I liked. We were the only ones there so the service was great and when the guy behind the counter wasn’t bringing us coffee he would sit and watch All In The Family on this really old TV in the kitchen. Serious old school charm. Food was good and there was a pretty varied menu. I had a “polish western” omelet with tons of hand chopped peppers and onions and big chunks of polish sausage with home fries and toast for like six bucks. Can’t beat that. The bill for three of us was $28 before tip so you have to love that. Wasn’t great but it has a definite appeal to it so I would go back again.

Hidden Jewel on Clinton street! The Italian sausage here is delicious, fries on the side are fantastic! Staff are very friendly, 5 out of 5 in my book, will be coming back if I’m working in south buffalo again
