I was ther with my family. We had great time there. Food was amazing and so fresh especially salmon roll so delicious. And eggplant was incredibly nice. Absolutely i will gona back soon.

We ordered a few sashimi and sushi platters to celebrate Christmas, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was very fresh and full of flavour. We had lots of questions before ordering, and the staff were extremely patient and helpful, carefully checking all the details and accommodating our requests. A wonderful experience!

Original, authentic japanese restaurant. Try the gyoza, aburi sashimi, and fish tepanyaki and curry taste the best. This is good to bring little kids, they give present. Price very reasonable and booking recommended

We ordered sushi, which was mediocre. The tonkatsu was extremely tough and hard—I couldn’t even bite through it, making it practically inedible. The yakisoba was overly salty. To make matters worse, while we were only halfway through the side dishes, the waitress came and cleared our plates. We were also informed that the 10% cash discount applies only to takeaway orders, not dine-in. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience

We frequently have dinner at Akiya I’ve been disappointed at most places I frequent, however, I’ve never had a bad meal here. Soft shell crab hand roll is to die for the skewers are sensational, P.S. staff are awesome, If we could go every week we would. 10/10

Bought take away from Akiya. Probably the worst take away I’ve had in memory. The food was quite pricey in general but it didn’t reflect in quality. The fried rice arrived with large amounts of burnt eggs and vegetables, even removing these the burnt taste permeated the rest of the dish. I also ordered 2 skewers which cost $18.90, I expected that it would come with something for the cost, but it was literally $9.45 per skewer with 4 pieces of meat per skewer.
I tried to contact them so as not to leave a bad public review but they do not have a website and didn’t answer the phone. I would usually await a few bad interactions before leaving a negative review, unfortunately the portion and quantity and being uncontactable warranted this review.

Akiya is a delightful spot for Japanese cuisine! Their sushi and sashimi are so fresh, the beef melts in your mouth, and everything tastes amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the prices are super reasonable. It’s a place you’ll want to visit again and again!!!

Most lovely staff, and yummy food. Ordered takeaway and as we were waiting gave us edamame and were so kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and so fresh!!!
