Chocolate Boutique and Bakery delivered a fantastic experience. We picked up a wide variety of brownies, cupcakes, and other treats, and everything was fresh, rich, and high-quality. The customer service was friendly and efficient, and checkout was incredibly fast. They even offer a discount for paying cash, which was a nice surprise. Overall, excellent bakery, great people, and outstanding desserts. Five stars.

I’ve come here before and really liked their desserts so I thought I would order a cake. I asked the owner when she would be making it in case I had to change it or cancel my order and I was told that she wouldn’t start till Wednesday. I called late Tuesday night and left a message and then called again on Wednesday and spoke to someone working there to confirm that they received the message and spoke to them about the $25 deposit I put down on the cake. I asked if it could be used to purchase other items there and was told that I could. I didn’t ask for my money back. I just asked for a credit to purchase other items because I thought that the desserts she made were good. When I came in to use that deposit credit I was told that she was not going to give it to me and that that’s the reason for a deposit.
So just know you’re basically stuck purchasing cake even if you let them know in advance there may be changes. If you want to just grab and go with something that’s one thing but I definitely wouldn’t put any orders in for cakes because I literally told her I might have to make changes and warned her before and I was told that I had time if I needed to make a change and then I was treated like I was being irrational to use the deposit for something else in her shop after being told it was ok and driving here to pick something else out. I would definitely think twice about making any orders because the service here is questionable at best. Also, her cake pricing is very high for what appears to be low quality cakes(based off the other pictures with reviews) It was a small 6 inch cake that she charges $50 for. I found another bakery with much better quality, prices and service.
I wanted to add that I had been to this place before and gotten other items that I enjoyed so I did not look at the reviews before going back to order a cake but I wish I had. I also wish the owner would have honored the deposit and let me use it as a credit so I could continue to come back because I did really like this place at one point but sadly I will not be returning after this experience.

Called to see if they sold brownies, was told they had 5 or 6 different flavors (could be more). Dropped in to take a look and left with 3 flavors along with some truffles and a few peanut butter cookies.
Everything was so good. The peanut butter brownie was my favorite of the 3. They are large and filling, but not too rich that you can’t eat more than a bite.
There were many other yummy treats so I can’t wait to come back and try more.
The young women working were so nice with helping me choose what to get. It’s hard with so many choices!

Very aesthetically pleasing inside. Seating is limited, although, we didn’t plan to sit. It was pretty crowded, but that isn’t a bad thing. Everything tasted fantastic! And a great selection.

If you are looking for a professional but affordable bakery that will custom design a beautiful and delicious cake for your loved ones, this is the place to go! I wanted to order a birthday cake for my 6 year old daughter but wasnt sure how it should look. I only gave some ideas based on the things my daughter likes and then left it for them to design. When we saw and tasted the cake, we knew we made the right decision. All the parents at her birthday party said it looked and tasted delicious!

Oh sweet goodness this bakery is divine. There are many wonderful treats, chocolates, as well as macarons! They also make bubble tea with popping boba! 10/10 will be a lifetime customer.

In my opinion this is the Best Bakery in Howell! They have delicious sweet treats with great customer service. We order cakes from the regularly and they have great pricing and do an exceptional job decorating the cakes! Highly recommend them!

I love this bakery so much. They have a huge variety of treats, including some I’ve never even heard of, and everything I’ve tried so far has been excellent. The cupcakes in particular are fantastic.
And I can’t forget to mention the BUBBLE TEA! It’s great and there’s a wide variety of tea flavors, flavor add ins, and bubble flavors, and you can customize it to your liking. If they were open later and downtown was more convenient I would be here every day buying bubble tea.
All of the employees are friendly and helpful, and very kind and understanding when it takes me ages to order because I want everything.
They also often have great little gift boxes with various items and different price points that make excellent gifts for any occasion.
I’d highly encourage anyone visiting downtown Howell to stop in and try a few different types of treats. Don’t be afraid to be adventurous; I’ve enjoyed everything I got even with no idea what it actually was.
