Serving all sorts of gourmet American cuisine, the newly renovated Restaurant at Montgomery Bell strives to put quality and thoughtfulness into all the food they make. They use local products when practical, have many healthy options, and even created a new cocktail menu centered on TN products. They also offer great buffets. Breakfast is offered to Lodge guests seven days a week. Excellent food! We spent the weekend at the Lodge and ate at the restaurant several times. All the food was very good. The waitresses were very nice and pleasant to talk to and helpful suggesting what to the try. The catfish was some of the best we ever ate. Nice meaty pieces with a great taste. The country fried steak with cooked perfectly. It was a large portion and the gravy was just the perfect topping. The hamburger steak with seasoned well. The club sandwich with well made and very large, enough for two people. The avocado toast with was delicious. The biscuits were cooked well with nice portions of sausage, bacon, country ham, fried chicken and pork tenderloin. We are planning to go back soon just to try something different

GG was a great waitress. First time to the park and the restaurant. Unexpectedly delightful. Ordered fried pickle chips, catfish platter and ultimate grilled cheese..sweet potato fries were yummm. Will be a regular here moving forward. Food was great. Service attentive, friendly, personable.

Huge Sunday crowd for lunch. They got us in after a few minutes. I had country fried steak, fries, and asparagus. Finished ✔️ it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream . Server Jason was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed it!

Enjoyed a fantastic Valentines Day meal at the Montgomery Bell Park Restaurant! Absolutely a great experience from the staff to the 4 course meal. My 8 oz Filet was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender! The decor complimented the meal. Best thing was we stayed the night at the lodge and did not have to fight traffic so we had a relaxed and comfortable evening. We will definitely be back!

We visited the park over the weekend and ate three times in the restaurant, supper Saturday night, had catfish and white beans and nachos, they were great! Breakfast Sunday, had the country ham plate, ham was way overcooked on one end and almost not cooked enough on the other, scrambled eggs were pretty much fried and browned, potatos were very good though. Lunch, had probably the worst hamburger ever, way overcooked to the point of where it was dried out and crumbly, fries were the champ of that meal, club was excellent though (no cooking required I’m guessing). Talked to the manager after I paid full price, she tried to make it right but I refused, told her to talk with her chef. Last time we were here, the food was always good, guessing a new chef maybe? Hopefully they will figure it out as it’s a great place to visit!

My husband had the best brisket at Montgomery bell state park restaurant. I had the fettuccine Alfredo and they were both so good. Service was great, would definitely come back.
