Absolutely beautiful and cozy place to sit, chat, eat, and drink with friends. Everyone there was so nice and accommodating, and had no issues subbing bacon for me (allergy). I will definitely be frequenting KTB for the delicious food and vibes. Plus, she supports local artists and sells their work in store!

I really wanted to support a local business, and while the atmosphere of the space is quite nice, the food and service were incredibly disappointing.
I ordered the French onion soup, which had a distinctly sour taste coming from the onions. I asked several times if the soup was actually supposed to taste sour, but they completely ignored the question. When I brought the issue to the owner/manager’s attention, I was met with an aggressive attitude. Instead of addressing the problem or offering an apology—which not once did they do—she became defensive, claiming another customer had it and said it was okey. Even after I tried to end the discussion, she continued to mumble and make comments, which felt like harassment.
The side salad was also underwhelming—just limp romaine lettuce with stale croutons and bottled dressing. While she did eventually offer to replace the French onion soup with a chicken noodle soup, her attitude was so off-putting that I didn’t even want to have it. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I know that feedback should be handled with respect, not aggression. I should have checked the reviews beforehand, as the owner’s responses to other customers reflect this same lack of sincerity and care. I strongly recommend you save your money and stay away from this place. I will definitely not be returning.

Great stop to enjoy a quick bite or just a chill day at this cafe ! I vote this best cafe to stop and relax with many menu options from light refreshments to lunch special and yes you can sit outside too ! Recommend this Hasbrouck heights cafe

No laptops, no Wi-Fi, bad service, which explains why the place is usually empty. It’s unfortunate to see prime real estate underused when it could be home to a better coffee shop (like Paris Baguette) that understands how people actually want to spend their time.

I came three times with friends—once to look around, once for a takeout breakfast, and once to sit down for drinks. The barista (Cat) was kind and accommodating of our requests and patient with changes. We absolutely loved her and the chef, who hustled hard to make the experience great for everyone in the cafe. The whole space is cozy, fun, and filled with lovely local art, books, and games (pool for quarters and free boxes games in the window). I ordered an almond joy latte, a pumpkin pie latte, and a Nutella pastry in my visits and I was very pleased by the quality and the price! There is plenty of seating at the bar and in the dining area, even during lunch. Bigger parties (more than 4) will need to move tables together or add more chairs to tables. I highly recommend this cafe and will be back!

Stopped in for a drink and appetizers. The drink was delicious. Ordered the pretzel and it was MASSIVE. Great vibes and nice local art for sale. The hours are good. Would recommend.

We came in here looking for a nice breakfast spot and this place is not it. I thought it was weird when I saw no laptops allowed in lounge area perfect to bring your laptop in and work but proceeded to walk in anyway. We had two near empty coffees in our hand and planned to buy more coffee at this spot and the server gave us the biggest attitude because we came in with cups. We told her we plan to buy coffees here and food. She rolled her eyes proceeded to grab two menus and rolled her eyes again as she slammed them on the table. Unacceptable behavior you’re in the customer service business and you are not a child. Your energy is everything and acting this way cost you business and anyone else that I know will not be going. You also don’t know who someone is so learn to treat your potential customers with respect. We decided to leave and will never return to this place ever again until they fire the lady. Note to you as well as we hope you see this, if you don’t like your job find something you do like so you don’t end up spreading your terrible negativity to others. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I heard about this place on Reddit and I tried it for brunch recently. I should have known something was off when there was only 1 or 2 tables seated in the entire place. This was a Sunday at noon. I immediately noticed they don’t have a brunch menu. Why advertise as a brunch spot? The food had no flavor. How do you not season eggs? I ordered a Bloody Mary. It was meh. Overall, it was very poor diner food in an empty depressing restaurant. Darn you Reddit! Maybe the North Arlington store is better. Management- see what’s happening in your kitchen and fix this before you have to close.

Nice place. The decoration is lovely. Warm. And welcoming. Employees are friendly. Good menu option. They have alcohol options too. The prices are reasonable. We ordered wine, macchiato, coffee, and crepe with dulce de leche strawberry. The coffee was ok. The Macchiato was good. The crepe had a heavy flour taste. Other than it was delicious.

The lady at this place had the most attitude I’ve seen from anyone in the customer service business. The food wasn’t great and comparable to bad diner food. I asked for another cup of coffee and she rolled her eyes like I was a burden meanwhile I’m spending money. She made me extremely uncomfortable so I paid and I grabbed my stuff and left. Avoid this place.
