Very good bakery. It’s so nice that they have the donkey outside, it’s really nice to come there with the kids and see the donkey. They do only take cash only so make sure you bring Cash. Their donuts are fresh every day.

I was lucked out that we found this lovely bakery on the way to the Lobster House in Cape May. Inside is full of antiques that were not antiques in my youth. The donuts were kept warm, soft, moiety, and not aggressively sweet. It has been a long time since I felt the gentle warmth of food on the tip of my fingers. Also, pineapple cheesecake is a must. It was not too sweet, soft, and the half-transparent pineapple underneath was fantastic. Also, if you have kids, ask the host to pat the little donkey on their farm. The host and her daughter working there were very kind. We loved her smile. I wish this bakery is in the Cherry Hill area too. Gosh, I already miss the donut and cheesecake!

My husband, now 58,(2021) used to come here every weekend with his father. They are STILL here after all these years! God bless them. Their donuts are absolutely worth the ride! Cheesecakes are scrupulously fantastic too( made the old fashioned way. Go ahead and treat yourself! You be happy you did. 10 ⭐️‘S. Oh and the cinnamon raisin bread is huge and makes fantastic French Toast!

Adorable old school bakery! Had the hop-a-long donut and it was delicious. Prices were great and Justin at the counter was so nice & helpful.

Google Maps took me past this place on the way to the shore. I’m always looking for places off of the beaten path to try and this one definitely fit the bill. Stopped with the kids on the way home. Steady crowd of cars coming in and out. Parking could be better as backing out onto the highway afterward is not ideal.
Bought a dozen donuts. Took a $20 out of my wallet and then was shocked when the worker told me $22.50! I’ve bought plenty of dozens in my life, and this was the most expensive. I could see if I were on the boardwalk or Main Street at the shore and the owner has to make rent, but this was a house on the side of the road that’s been there forever.
After trying the donuts, they were average. Had the triple chocolate, lemon, powdered, cinnamon sugar, chocolate and vanilla. I asked the kids first and they prefer other places, Brittons in Wildwood Crest being one of them.
One and done for me, but definitely worth a visit so you can try them yourself. Just make sure you go to the bank first.

Went to get a pineapple cheesecake, yesterday. We’ve always thought they were so delicious. This one was just terrible! Thick crust and very little cheesecake with more pineapple filling than cheesecake. I had one piece and threw the rest out. Plus, it was $20 for a small, dried out cheesecake.

I have been going to Frog Hollow for probably close to 25 years. Back in the day my brother and I would stay with our grandparents at their campground in the summer and we’d always stop – and they always gave me and my brother a free sugar donut! 25 years later, anytime I’m headed down the shore, I stop to grab some pineapple cheesecake, sugar donuts, and other treats. Even if they’re closed, I stop so I can visit my favorite Donkey Jimmy! As long as frog hollow is open, I’ll be stopping that’s for sure. Can’t wait to one day bring my own children here!
