Wow! We can’t get over the pulled pork/bbq! Hubby had the biggest sandwich I’ve ever seen and loved every bit. I had it on delicious Mac and cheese: talk about decadent! Kids meal was great, mocktails were fun. Service was excellent. Don’t be deterred by the non-descript storefront. This place is worth the stop.

Overall we had a good experience at The Durham, the food came out quick for us and the server was friendly and the food was alright and moderately priced. The only issues we experienced was how hot it was in the restaurant, they have little ACs but they either weren’t on or they’re not enough for the space; and the fact they charge a 3% credit card processing fee back to the customers which is bizarre for a restaurant to do especially since those fees are generally tax deductible for a business.
In truth though, we almost didn’t stop here due to the very mixed reviews concerning the food wait times and lack of timely service.
Having been there it does seem to be the case, though our service and wait time was quick there were many customers complaining and outright leaving due to their wait time for food or to even being greeted. So it seems this place is very hit and miss.

My AVALANCHE
The food and drinks are absolutely great! Everything tastes like it’s homemade, I even asked to be sure, and I’m happy to say it is. We happen to find the Duram on our way to another stop on our vacation. This is the best place we have eaten in a long time, including our own home town. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSATISFIED!

What a remarkable gem in downtown Polson. Situated is a historic building flowing with charm. Great food, great services! Some of the best tacos around! We were fortunate to be there on Open Mic Tuesdays and saw great local musicians!

Me and my friends were absolutely appalled with our experience. We walked in to every empty table being piled with dishes- 2 of which remained piled up and even had more piled on throughout the duration of our meal. We arrived at 3:15 to a moderately empty dining area and did not leave until 4:40. We were sat at a table that still had dirty dishes on it.
It took around 30 minutes just to get food & drinks ordered. We ordered 1 appetizer, 2 burgers, tacos, and 2 milkshakes. Appetizer did not come out until the entrees did, resulting in the chicken wings being cold inside and out (a food safety hazard). The burgers came out with virtually no fries (other tables ordered burgers and got a normal amount of fries) and charred patties. We would have complained, but our server was non-existent. It wasnt until after we got food that we got our waters, 1 shake came out with the waters and 1 shake didnt come out until half way through the meal. The server stated they were waiting on chocolate milk, only to discover THEY DONT EVEN USE ICE CREAM IN THE SHAKES, ITS HALF & HALF FROM WALMART with chocolate/caramel sauce. The shakes were far too heavy to finish given they are made with essentially coffee creamer, and no one to inquire further with.

I had the Mac and cheese with steak and it was delicious! The others in my party where not that happy with their food except my friend who got a burger (not pictured) she loved it. Unfortunately there was only 1 server and all tables where full but she did her best. All in all it was great.

I came here with my wife, daughter and son-in-law. I’ve been her once before and was very satisfied with the service. Liam was the bar tende/waiter. He didn’t rush us for an order but when we did he was right there to take it and the young man running the food did an excellent job. The food was great! They have an appetizer called “Sea salt caramel fries ” that was excellent. It was sweet potato fries drizzled with a caramel sauce and sugar with bacon bits sprinkled on top. I enjoyed some chicken fingers with seasoned fries. My wife had a bacon cheese burger that was stacked high with plenty of bacon. Liam was always at the ready to keep our beverages full. The other side of the restaurant had live entertainment. All in all I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice night out with good food and friendly staff.

Recommended to my wife and I by a local, we decided to give the Durham a try. We were greeted shortly after entering. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, giving us the right amount of attention. I got a burger. My wife got the steak Mac and cheese. Both were super tasty. I enjoyed an Athletic hazy ipa NA beer. Awesome! Restaurant and bathroom were very clean. There was live music that was really enjoyable!
