The lobster melt is great. The lobster in the sandwich is very soft and sweet. The seafood wontons are creamy and sweet and the fried snapper is fried nice and crispy. I highly recommend the peach cobbler and the watermelon lemonade if you like sweets!

My expectations were set high. I guess I’ve eaten food before at the Meridian location and the food truck. The experience was great both times now we were craving the lobster melt and was sadly disappointed. It had more cheese than we could eat. The fried rice was really good, but it was different. I could’ve done without the shrimp. I think the prices were set reasonably, I’ll be back to try them again.

Hello your food is very good. I have been ordering the wings and the big burger with egg and polish sausage. But the wings are a little salty and the fries are on point. My husband just love the burger. He can’t get enough of it. We ordered your food Wednesday and yesterday by delivery.

Got food from here and 1. it was too salty and the shrimp was fishy in my garlic fried rice with steak (i added shrimp). I also had the blackened chicken with siracha it was great! until i noticed a hair in my food. *sigh* i guess my expectations were too high. the greens was good. Might give another shot for the lobster melt which was sold out.

Whatever you do, get the watermelon lemonade!!! All are delicious but the watermelon is so refreshing and GOOD!!! This chef is a Food Network champion and has years of experience in the restaurant/food truck industry. This is a new address for him but he’s not new to the game!! I’ve had almost everything he’s ever made! Home of the Lobster Melt… GET IT!! Our recent visit, I got the combination fried rice (chicken, shrimp, and steak), asparagus, fried catfish and okra. You will definitely want to get the fried rice on one of your visits!! There’s not much that you won’t enjoy here!! Seafood wontons, chicken & pancakes, burgers, frog legs, egg rolls, all of it is delicious!! Blackened chicken over rice is also one of my favorites!! Definitely recommend!!

I have lived a vegetarian lifestyle for over 5 years. I had the opportunity of visiting Corey B Cookin and wasn’t sure if the menu would be able to accommodate me… to my surprise they could. I had some amazing fried rice, Mac & cheese and collard greens… it’s rare to find greens at most restaurants without a meat in it. I was so grateful. Corey B Cooking is definately worthy of returning. He is known for his lobster melt, although I dont eat fish of any kind, i would ask someone to stop and try it out. I will be back

I went to the soft opening, anytime I go to a soft opening. I go with an open mind the food may not be up to par out the gate. That did not happen here. The food was very good!
Lobster Melt (best sandwich in OKC)
Chicken egg rolls (very delicious)
Combination fried rice (flavorful and tender meat)
Oh, the lemonade!! Hands down best I’ve ever had! (Forgot to get a picture)
Can’t wait to go back!

Went here around 330p……The chicken needed more seasoning. The friend rice was good but could.have been better if they were not out the meats I wanted (steak). The lemonades need help. They were out of the upgraded peach cobbler and their fries were garbage!

We live on the far east side of Oklahoma County and don’t get into OKC very often. Usually to an appointment at the VA.
My wife and I have driven by the Corey B Cooking Restaurant at N.E. 23rd and Bryant and never saw it open.
This week we saw Corey on Channel 5 news talking about food boxes he was going to give away during the mess of SNAP benefits and government shutdowns.
I went with a buddy on Saturday to check it out and give a little $ to his food drive.
What a great experience it was! Nice lighting, one tv high on a wall with no sound, smooth jazz playing, a very relaxing atmosphere. Place you order at the counter and Corey B. cooking! Nothing in warmers, cooked fresh. I had the grilled snapper (blackened) absolutely the best and it was a surprisingly large piece. The fried rice was fluffy and tasty. I tried the chicken egg rolls, light, cooked perfectly and not a bit greasy.
His menu and hours are on line; I’ll be back!

The chicken is good but $4.50 for a side of CANNED MAC&CHEESE AND CANNED GREENS is absolutely ridiculous. I also didn’t like that I had to wait in line for my pick up order
