We had lunch today at River Cafe. I had the cheeseburger and Sandra had the ribeye steak sandwich. Both were very good. The liquor selection was impressive for a small place. Had pool tables and dart games.

A great place to eat. Have a drink and Sit back and relax and talk to a friend. Watch the game or play pool. The owner Mike Garrison is always having all kinds of entertainment from live bands to game parties. From pool tournaments to bingo night. Absolutely the best burger around! Hand cut fries are delicious as well. Try the catfish special on Fridays. Drinks are good but can be inconsistent depending on who is bartending but it’s a dive bar so these are not highly trained bartenders and they are always friendly so they get a pass. We have been regulars for a while now and have not found anything on the menu that wasn’t good. It’s a bar but kids are welcome and it’s family friendly during the day. They do allow smoking but it’s not usually overwhelming and we have not had an issue with it.

Seems like an ok country/biker bar. Never would have known this place existed if I hadn’t needed to go for APA pool league as it’s literally in the middle of nowhere. Having to actually pay for each game played was honestly a shock. Music jukebox was free so that sort of made up a little bit for it. Didn’t even realize they offered food until I was leaving. Bar tender was only one working & stopped by once when I first arrived.

Nice little place that is as much restaurant as it is bar. Don’t skip the food. No need for the double patty burger because the single patty is huge and delicious. Great onion rings. Biker friendly.

Went for the Sunday lunch buffet. Staff was great, very friendly. The food was awesome! Some of the best country cooking I’ve ever tasted. The southern hospitality and country cooking at this “hole in the wall” will definitely make you want to come back for more.
