Usual downtown parking. Nice clean facility. Wonky bench seating. Got yelled at as soon as we walked up to view the menu then could barely hear her questions. Ordered the Banty Rooster and Classic Showbird . It’s worth noting our sandwiches was served with chicken thighs. Biscuit was reheated/overcooked. Dr. Pepper was flat so I was wasteful and poured it out to try another soda. Sandwich combination was good though. I wouldn’t say I’d come back but I would recommend.

ShowBird was just okay overall. The biscuits with jam were definitely the highlight—really tasty. The chicken was decent but nothing special, and the fries were just average. It felt a bit pricey—paid about $26 for chicken crisp, fries, a soda, and a biscuit (not a combo). Worth trying once, but not sure I’d rush back.

Over all experience was just “ok”. Ordering and picking up went well enough but nothing spectacular. The presentation was very nice in the tray and I was very excited to eat. Unfortunately the majority of my chicken sandwich was very tough and difficult to chew. The only thing that kept me eating was that it did have great flavors. The Fries were very good. All in all I would not be in a hurry to return.

Very delicious. Lots of flavor. I got cheese grits and chicken cracklings also a crack wrap on the side. The cheese grits the best I’ve had in a long time. I did ask for a side of their creole seasoning to make it more spicy. Just my preference. The chicken cracklings was amazing.

As we walked in there were plenty of seating available, and not to busy. Upon ordering we did have to wait 7-10mins. Service was great, even though my wings were over cooked. They replace them with fresh ones. Food was ok, and they’ve got phenomenal honey mustard. The sandwich was good as well.

We were in town for the Zulu parade on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. We arrived early at 5a. When the snacks ran out and the crowd got thick Snowbirds was close by.
It was a long line and maybe short staffed. They were trying hard to keep up. I let the line die down some before entering and ordering.
I got the loaded waffle fries and added chicken to it. Would have been nice if they had just a seasoned chicken breast instead of fried. The waffle fries were overcooked, the cheese sauce was too thick and everything was so salty I only ate about 3 bites. Paying $17 for salt sticks is crazy.

I’ll start by saying I really enjoy Johnny Sanchez next door but after several visits to Showbird, I’m just not impressed. I’ve had almost the entire menu and I really only enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich and the hash browns. There’s something wrong with the buns they use because they came out hard sometimes. The chicken biscuit is literally a challenge to chew because it’s so dry. The chicken salad is like ground up chicken—making it feel like it’s served out of a can—very one dimensional in terms of flavor. The burger I ordered had a bun that was really hard and the patties were nowhere close to being proportionate. Very disappointing in terms of flavor. I also noticed an insect crawling on my table. I wanted to like it and like I said, I gave them several chances but it just didn’t really deliver in terms of uniqueness or flavor that I’d expect from the chef.

Stopped by before a theatre show. The staff was okay and the food was very mid, not the greatest. The chicken sandwich was extremely dry and there was hardly any sauce. The waffle fries were great but the cheese sauce had a funky flavor.

Stumbled across Showbird on my way to another restaurant and decided that chicken sounded better than what I was originally going to get. This was DEFINITELY the right choice! By far one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had, and the cheesy grits were delicious.
In addition to the food being great the staff are super friendly and care about the quality of their food and customer satisfaction. They frequently are asking customers if everything is tasting good and if they need anything.
