I have to say i was a little skeptical about this place but was pleasantly surprised. Corned beef hash was GREAT and actually home made, with shredded corned beef. A must try!! Everything else was good, from the pancakes to the hash. Check.it out!

Food was delicious, real homemade corned beef hash. Literally the best sausage gravy ive ever had EVER, cook was funny. Prices were decent. Great place. Absolutely worth the wait. This place may have ruined diners for me in my area. 10/15/2022
A year after our last trip to the area, we stopped in to enjoy the best sausage gravy. Everything is made fresh, literally each plate made for you. Im repeating myself but needs to be repeated. More Dad jokes from Mark. Love it. Will always stop here for breakfast while in the area.

If you are anywhere near the area run, don’t walk, to Chappy’s. This restaurant is so awesome! The food is all scratch made and is chef quality. The portions are generous so you will definitely not be hungry. Today we tried the apple pancakes special. First, when they say huge it is no joke. Then the homemade apple compote on top was divine. I said it was basically like a giant apple cake. Simple meals like eggs, home fries and toast are elevated with homemade toast and delicious home fries. Add in super friendly staff, fun conversation with the owner, and very reasonable prices and you can’t go wrong. This our new favorite restaurant!

I’ve been here twice and I must say that this is quite the place. The owner and also the cook seems to be Genuinely concerned about every meal.
He cooks and comes into the dining area to tell a joke or two and has a nice sense of humor.
I requested a special steak omelet and minutes later I was eating the most delicious breakfast ever.
The waitresses overlap eachother nicely and you never need long for a request.
The owners son is developing a solid work ethic as he is setting up the tables for the next patrons. All in all just the kind of place that has a family style, relaxed vibe that will keep you coming back.
I’ll be on my way shortly with my son.
He really didn’t want to get out of bed but once I mentioned where I’m going, he said, “give me 30 minutes”!
This place is worth the trip.

A friend and I recently stopped at “Chappy’s Cafe” for lunch. We had a wonderful experience! We both chose the feta and spinach omelet. The spinach was fresh and complimented the eggs and feta cheese perfectly. Our server was kind and attentive. She suggested a fresh fruit cup, when I needed an alternative to the home fries. the fruit was excellent! The “homemade cinnamon toast” crowned the plate perfectly, and was very tasty! I highly recommend “Chappy’s”.
Mark Chapman aka Chappy, told us of his new dinners available on selected weekend nights. They sounded top notch!

The young lady at the counter was great – Friendly professional service. We had the fried eggs with the cornbeef hash and it was Great! The coffee was good too. Also, the property is located in a beautiful area where you can eat at the outside tables or eat in your car either way you’ll get a great view.

Update: a year later and we are back in the area and all the food is just as good as last time! Amazing vegetable omelet and cornbeef hash. Everything tastes homemade and sooo tasty. We were treated to a new round of dad jokes by the wonderful chef here. Coffee is great too. We really wish we lived closer. Long live Chappy’s!!

We had breakfast on our way out of town. The wait was a bit long, but everything here is made from scratch, and you just can’t rush that kind of food. Delicious blueberry silver dollar pancakes and the BEST cornbeef hash I’ve ever had. My friend’s breakfast was equally breathtaking and we were both stunned by how good the country gravy was. Definitely raised the bar. We left feeling fueled up and good, ready for our hike. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. Thank you for the delicious meal we’ll never forget!

Honestly beats out any other breakfast spot I’ve been to in the Hamburg/Franklin/Vernon/Warwick area!
The cinnamon raisin bread is heaven!! Corned beef hash best I’ve had. And breakfast potatoes are a win.
Everyone I went with was so impressed. And when the chef comes out to ask how everything was you know he takes pride in the good food he’s putting out.
If you’ve never been to chappys I definitely recommend!
