Today on Feb 16, 2026 a round 1:00 PMStopped here today during my road trip after checking out a bunch of nearby spots and trying to pick somewhere worth stopping. This place had really good reviews, so I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. First thing I noticed walking in was how clean and organized everything was. It’s not a huge place, but it feels welcoming and comfortable, like a small family-run business where they actually care about customers.

The guy who helped me said his name was Shan (hope I got that right), and he had an Om tattoo on his hand. He was super friendly, patient, and welcoming from the start, which made the whole experience feel relaxed. Service was quick and my food came out hot and fresh always a big plus when you’re on the road and hungry.

I ordered pani puri and Amritsari kulcha. The pani puri had great flavor tangy, refreshing, and really satisfying. The kulcha was honestly the highlight: soft, well stuffed, cooked perfectly, and tasted fresh and authentic. You could tell it wasn’t rushed or reheated.

Before leaving I also grabbed some sweets to go and tried a milkcake . Everything was really good, but the milk cake especially stood out rich, soft, and perfectly sweet without being too heavy. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve had. The price was super reasonable as the portion size was very large.

Overall, really solid experience good food, great service, clean place, and a nice vibe. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is just because I personally save that last star for places that completely blow me away but this one comes very close. I’d definitely stop again if I’m passing through Elk Grove.

Everything we tried was absolutely yummy and full of authentic flavor. The Amritsari kulcha, chole bhature were delicious, and they even have spring rolls with noodles which were such a tasty bonus. The sweets looked fresh and tempting too. Definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to!

We visited Bobby Sweets on a Friday night with family and ordered Amritsari kulche, dosa, veg momos, mango lassi, and falooda. Every single item was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The customer service was outstanding as well; the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic taste with great hospitality!

Came here on my way to Sacramento and this place truly is a hidden gem !!! We had tandoori chaamp, burgers, samosa, chaat papri, Veggie Manchurian and I am telling you if we could we would have had more food cause each item was phenomenal and so flavorful !!! Everything reminds me of food back in India. I honestly haven’t had food quite like this in the area. If you can I highly recommend to stop by and try their food !!
We will be coming back again with more family !!

I saw a new restaurant in the neighborhood so I thought I’d give it a try. I got an order of chicken curry to go. When I spoke to the lady by phone I wanted to make sure it was enough. She said it was enough for 2 people. When I saw the tiny container I knew that it wouldn’t be enough for even a 7yr old. The container was 40% oil and the rest had maybe 5 small pieces of chicken. No way is this worth the $16 that they charged me This dish is only worth $3.50. I’m not sure who the owner is but they need to stop being cheap. If you want to keep customers, that price needs to be less than half.
On the positive side the samosas were ok, but I wouldn’t recommend putting tofu in it.
I will stick to making my own chicken curry at home with half the amount of oil and double the chicken. I don’t know how long they can stay in business with those prices. The last restaurant there didn’t last very long. I wish them luck.
