Update: The food truck came to my neighborhood again and I had a completely different experience. I did come 15 minutes before closing, but it was still within the time advertised. The cook was rude to me and told me he didn’t want to cook me tacos. The tacos were very blah this time too. I believe it was the chicken ones. The guy working with him gave me the tacos for free due to the cook’s behavior. The lady on my HOA Board who arranged them to come said he was rude to her too. Nothing compared to the people who came last time. I called to speak to the owner and did not get a call back. I don’t think they are going to be invited back.

Got mine from the food truck that came to my neighborhood. Pretty good meats and yummy sauces! I love fusion food! I especially liked the fish taco and the different sauces. You can mix and match what sauce you want on what meat! The employee was so nice too!

Honestly hands down the worst tacos I’ve ever had. I’m not even sure I’d call them tacos. I had them today at Richmond’s Folk Festival. I paid $38 for 5 tacos and a bottle of water. The meats were dry and gross, and there were no toppings other than an excessive amount of sauce that got everywhere. Also unlike the photos, the tacos only had one junky tortilla instead of two. I love tacos and these were a complete disgrace to the word and spirit. I choked them down but they were disgusting. Don’t. Ever. Eat. Their. Food.

First time ordering from the shop instead of the food truck and it was great. Much faster service than I could get even at nearby fast food!

Unique flavor combinations, good portion size, and great service! The portabella market taco had a distinct smoky/BBQ flavor and great texture. The Asian and Mexican style chicken tacos were fantastic and I’d definitely order again.

Always a winner. Never had a bad taco. I recommend the Gauntlet combo, and I usually send it over the top with a shrimp and grits taco add-on. I have seen them understaffed but service is otherwise very good and notably friendly.

I got to try their food through the Tako truck at the Powhatan Village farmers Market. The fish tacos were delicious. They had a watermelon relish and I had 10 out of 10 Recommend!

I enjoyed Boka Grill. I arrived with a large party but the staff never batted an eye. They were helpful and patient. I was allowed to make a substitute and the food didn’t let me down. Just yum. I will be back.

Ordered the surf and turf burrito and chicken quesadilla from the food truck. I added kimchee into the quesadilla and it really gave it that kick in to next gear. Burrito was a good size and full of meat. Order extra aioli! No apple pay fyi! Con: I would say the prepped shredded chicken could use some seasoning so I dont have to depend on the sauces so much.

Nice people but possibly the worst taco I’ve ever eaten. Woah that was bad. Meat tasted like a grocery store rotisserie chicken from yesterday. They should probably make macaroni salad or something and leave tacos to the pros. Honestly disrespectful to a real taco what they served.
