We started with a Merguez & Morcilla Skewer and two pieces of Bluefin Tuna. Both were delicious (perhaps the best part of the meal). The Morcilla was so good that we ended up getting a second one.
Next, we split the Grilled Cabbage, Chickpea, and Jamón Ibérico salad and the Grilled Chicken w Fries. Both were really good. It was nothing too inventive but both dishes were done really really well! The fries were cooked perfectly and the chicken was delicious.
We left feeling full, but not too full. Honestly, I hope to go back. There were so many things on the menu that looked good. Definitely try this place. Either for date night or a weekend lunch with friends!
Service throughout the night was excellent. Our server was attentive, warm, and always on top of things without feeling intrusive.
The food overall was good. The Little Gem Salad was fresh and flavorful—simple but really well done. The Lobster Tagliatelle was rich and tasty, with great texture on the pasta. The Dover Sole had nice flavor, but it was a bit too buttery for us; it would’ve been much better with a lighter hand on the sauce.
We ended with dessert, and both treats were enjoyable—the soft serve sundae was fun and nostalgic, while the chocolate tart was rich and deep in flavor.
Crevette sits right in a great spot in the West Village, making it an easy and charming place for dinner. Service is truly the highlight, and the food has some solid hits, especially if you enjoy richer dishes. Overall, a pleasant neighborhood dining experience.
We had the following:
Half dozen oyster on shell (excellent)
Red shrimp carpaccio (this is my fav)
4 bluefin tuna with crispy potato (DIVINE)
Octopus skewer (didnt care for it)
Grilled scallop & sobrassada butter (id order 10 more)
Spanish tortilla with padrom peppers (fun take on this)
Grilled wild mushrooms (new on the menu, sooooo good)
Lobster tagliatelle (10/10 no notes)
Arroz negro with squid and clams (mixed reviews on this, the clam from this was the best bite I had all night, unfortunately the squid was chewy and not for me)
Two critiques: the agnolotti filling was delicious but the pasta was grainy. The turbot was beautiful but not quite worth $88. It was a bit undercooked and fatty.
I’ll definitely be back to try everything else on the menu.
The terrace immediately draws you in — inviting and stylish, especially on a perfect day when it’s warm but not too hot. The interior is just as impressive: tasteful décor, eye-catching artwork in a naïve style, and the waitstaff dressed in elegant uniforms — every detail is well thought out and visually appealing.
We chose to sit outside and had a wonderful experience. Our server, JUNG K, was incredibly attentive, remembered our entire order, and helped accommodate one friend’s preference to avoid garlic — very thoughtful!
We tried the tuna over a bed of crispy potatoes — outstanding. The peach and cheese salad was fresh and beautifully balanced. All three mains were exceptional: the lamb ribs, the crab ravioli pasta, and the monkfish kebab — each dish better than the last.
We couldn’t resist dessert and ordered three — every single one was a hit.
The colorful knives and delicate porcelain cups were a lovely surprise, adding charm to the overall experience.
Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back.
Thank you, Crevette!
