Did take out. I loved the shrimp and bakchoy. The garlic sauce was delicious! The veggie lo mein was ok. It wasn’t too greasy but it missed a little flavor so I added soy sauce and it was great! The chicken and broccoli was wonderful too! My dad liked his egg foo young. My husband got sweet and sour chicken. Forgot to take a picture! But that was also great! Would def come back! The order was like 15 mins to prepare very quick!

Came here for quick weeknight dinner. We ordered hot and sour soup, spare ribs, sautéd broccoli, sesame chicken and chicken lo mein. We got take out and it took about 15 minutes to put our order together. The place itself is in a strip mall with ample parking. The prices are reasonable for the location and the portions are good. I would come here again. The spare ribs were the only thing I would not order again. They seemed dried out and lacking much meat.

We ordered dinner for two. We liked it very much. Definitely get the duck sauce with your order. It’s very delicious. The girl who gave the order and the lady inside were very respectful and polite people. It was the cleanest Asian restaurant I’ve ever seen. You can definitely eat comfortably.

I recently had lunch at Asian Wok, located in Green Hill Plaza at 184 Parsippany Road, and it was an all-around delightful experience.

As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The space is clean, bright, and welcoming with charming touches like the two adorable waving lucky cats at the front counter, instantly giving the restaurant a unique and authentic Asian vibe. The woman at the register was incredibly kind and patient, taking our order with a smile and making sure we felt comfortable.

My friend and I ordered two large entrees:
• Chicken Lo Mein
• General Tso’s Chicken with White Rice

The Lo Mein was delicious, perfectly cooked noodles stir-fried with tender chicken and vegetables, full of rich flavor and a satisfying texture. Every bite was packed with a savory, slightly sweet taste that left us wanting more.

But the real star of the meal was the General Tso’s Chicken. The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside yet juicy and tender inside, smothered in a flavorful sauce that was slightly sweet with just a hint of heat. Although we asked for “very spicy,” it leaned more toward mild, but the flavor more than made up for it. The dish came with a side of steamed broccoli and fluffy white rice, balancing out the boldness of the chicken.

The restaurant itself is modest in size, with a few tables (two to three four-seaters) for dining in. It may feel a bit tight for larger groups, but it’s perfect for small gatherings or takeout. And speaking of takeout, while we were dining in, there was a steady flow of customers coming in and picking up orders, which speaks to the popularity and reliability of this spot. I noticed a mix of regulars and new faces, which is always a good sign.

One thing I appreciated was the cleanliness of the space. Staff were regularly wiping down tables and sweeping the floor, showing they care about the dining environment. They also had a drink fridge stocked with a solid variety of sodas, seltzers, juices, great for grab-and-go convenience.

Total bill: Around $25.73 for two large entrees, very reasonable for the quality and portion size!

Final Thoughts:

✅ Friendly and attentive staff
✅ Delicious, flavorful dishes (especially the General Tso’s!)
✅ Clean, cozy space with a strong takeout crowd
✅ Affordable pricing
✅ Authentic Asian ambiance

If you’re in Parsippany and craving great Chinese food, Asian Wok is a spot I’d highly recommend. I noticed they also offer Pad Thai definitely looking forward to trying that next time!

First of all, this is perhaps the cleanest Chinese (mostly take-out) place I have ever been in. A real pleasure to eat there, which I did.

I ordered veggie lo mien lunch with an egg roll. Very good, very fresh. Would definitely go again.

Friendly employees and great food, I live across the street and called at 9:58. They stayed open and the food was fresh. Asked for a spring roll instead of an egg roll and it was no problem. Definitely my new favorite Chinese food spot. Come get some lol

I decided to try this place solely based on its 4.7 rating, which is the highest I’ve seen in Parsippany at this moment(5/2025). I’ve lived here for over eight years and have tried nearly every Chinese restaurant in the area, so I was curious to check out this newer spot.

I ordered just one item—the House Special Fried Rice, which included shrimp, chicken, and pork (I think). The total came to $10.61 with tax for a small portion. And when they say small, they really mean it. For that price, I could’ve gotten a full combo meal elsewhere.

As for the food itself, the flavor was just okay. The color of the rice was pale—almost white—which was off-putting, especially when you expect the usual golden or brown tones typical of fried rice. On the plus side, it wasn’t too greasy. But still, for over $10, I expected more than just two shrimp in a “house special” dish.

This is my go-to dish at most places, and I’ve been to many where you get a lot more food and better value for the same price. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

I’ve also attached comparison pictures: one from another local spot where I got half a chicken and a generous portion of house special rice with jumbo shrimp underneath for $9.95 + tax, and another showing what I received from Asian Wok in Parsippany.

This place just opened 10 days ago. I know this because the owners Nancy and Al (I think that’s their names?) were both in the shop. Al talked to me about his little truck parked outside while I waited for my order. The sesame chicken combo and crab Rangoons tasted fantastic. Nancy even gave me a little extra boneless ribs they had made. Super nice gesture! The store has a few little tables to sit at, and it is very clean inside. overall, it was a really unexpected great experience after a long day at work. I’ll be back for sure!!

Owner is extremely kind and really cares about her business. Never seen so much love put into an American Chinese Restaurant. Food was great, there were safe options for those with a strict diet. If something doesn’t meet your dietary restrictions, they are open to adjust per your restrictions.

Highly recommend!
