I’ve put off reviewing this location as long as I could. Today marks least 3 bad experiences in the last 3 months. The amount of turkey on this sandwich is laughable.. as you can see there’s more condiments and lettuce than meat. Last time I was here same thing, and found chunks of meat in my broccoli cheddar soup. When I asked the manager about it he said it was likely due to a staffing error of them mixing up the soup crocks (they mixed baked potato & broccoli cheddar)*broccoli cheddar is suppose to be a vegetarian option so y’all watch out!!… this location has some of the worst service and is always so inconsistent on service & standards. I was the only person in line when my sandwich was made.. maybe she didn’t like that I didn’t tip her for making a $7 sandwich. Either way … horrible!

Was charged for a whole vs a half and I called the office 3 times. 1st time I left a detailed message. Waited a few days and no call back. 2nd time I talked to a manager but she said only the owner could fix the issue. 3rd time no answer. I finally just disputed the cost with my bank. Yes it’s only a few bucks and yes they could have offered another sandwich or a refund but they refused to contact me after my several calls. Super bummer because I love their food but won’t go back after this. Mistakes happen but why no one fixed it is beyond me.

Two months ago, I picked up a sandwich on my lunch break and took it back to work, only to find they left out the meat! I called immediately and spoke with a man who said he was the manager, and he offered to make me another sandwich, of course my lunch was over, he asked my name and number and said he would put it on a sticky note on the cash register for another sandwich to pick up at my convenience, I said are you sure? Can you send me an email confirmation? he said no, this is their “system” Needless to say, as expected, every time I have called no one knows anything about it and the manger is never there. I cannot bring myself to eat there again even though I like their sandwiches. Poor customer service. 🙁

This visit to SF Sourdough was so much worse than the last time we went. Last weekend or the weekend before we got food from there and there was a young lady working all by herself who made us great sandwiches and was very friendly. This time it was a young guy who looked like he believes in showering 2-3 times a week. He was friendly and tried to not keep me waiting to order. I tipped him well as I always do since I like to show appreciation to people who work in hospitality. Our sandwiches were of much lower quality this trip. My sandwich was a mess and didn’t have any meat in the last 2 or more inches. My fiance’s sandwich was on bread that should have been discarded(a Reuben in the photos attached). And my son’s sandwich (#20 with ONLY pepper jack cheese, pickles and mustard) had no pickles on it. I’m disappointed in this riverstone location of this franchise and I think they need to offer their employees compensation that attracts team members who care about their work. Everyone has an important role in our society and those who make our food are no exception. The owner of this store needs to do some real work to make this store fit the expectations customers have for this franchise

The sandwich was enough to share. We had the sourdough club and the bread was really warm and the sandwich was good. We would’ve preferred to sit outside, but they didn’t have any umbrellas so we would’ve had to sit in the sun, so that’s the only reason I gave them a four-star for atmosphere.

Went there yesterday and had the best sandwich. The girl working the whole place did a great job. Its so hard to fund good customer service and she was lovely.

We went to SF Sourdough Eatery before seeing a movie in Riverstone, the restaurant was clean, the bread tasted fresh baked and the best part of our experience. I got a french dip, the sandwich was good enough but the au jus had zero flavor so it wasn’t worth the $10 it cost and I got a cup of the kickin’ crab chowder, which was horrifyingly gross and I don’t think I’ve ever said that before about a restaurant. It was thin like soup, and the taste was so bad after one bite I couldn’t eat any more of it, which was unfortunate because it was $8. I spent $21 on a sandwich, an inedible cup of soup and a fountain soda. I was extremely disappointed in everything, except the bread. When the woman brought us our order we says thank you, she didn’t acknowledge us at all, didn’t make eye contact, didn’t say you’re welcome, just nothing.

Yall need to put more meat on your sandwiches. I don’t understand how the bread is so thick and you put a couple slices of meat in between. This is my favorite sandwich place I’ve been going here since I was a teenager and you’re ruining it

I got to the window waited another 10 to 15 minutes and the boys comes and says what did you order? Are you kidding me i waited almost 30 minutes! AVOID THIS LOCATION! PLUS NEVER GOT MY FOOD I WASNT GOING TO WAIT ALMOST AN HOUR IN A DRIVE THRU! IF ITS NOT FAST FOOD DONT HAVE A DRIVE THRU! We had a group order yesterday with 5 sandwiches total. To include 2 bags of chips, a water(bottle) fountain rooter and a fountain Mountain Dew. Our boss picked it up and the girl “verified” that everything was there. He didn’t know what all we had ordered. He just picked it up for us. No chips and missing 2 drinks. Checked my receipt and we definitely paid for everything listed above. How does this happen? Don’t they have the actual order?? Wouldn’t you actually make sure that everything was there? Kind of a bummer as we ordered to go out of convenience. The food we did receive was great. It’s not about the quality of food but rather the lack of making sure people get what they pay for ahead of time.
