This is our go-to store for pizza orders for the robotics team. The store is clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and hard working. The pizza is good as usual.
The time estimates on the app/website is often incorrect, but that’s more of a corporate problem and not a problem with this store.

Worst Papa John’s, this is the 3rd time our order has been messed up. This will be the last time we order from here.
Orders previously have been wrong but edible. These two pizzas, in addition to being sloshed to one side, are cold and soggy.

We’ve been eating Papa John’s for many years within the DMV area. Today we called in a pie to carry out parked at the site, we got a ping to let us know the pizza is ready for pick up, but it wasn’t and had to wait another 10 minutes in the small lobby. 5 minutes after standing there, the delivery guy packing the green insulated bags and the pizza makers in the background did not notice me until 5 minutes after standing there.
[Rule #1]: When a customer walks in at any carry-out establishments, please acknowledge their presence with a: “Hello, welcome to Papa John’s, we’ll be with you in a minute”.
As for the pizza, it was pretty good.

Terrible! I’m going to drive further out to get better papa johns pizza. Here are some issues I’ve faced:
1. There’s a lady who is always in a bad mood. Don’t just stare at your customers like they owe you something. I’m just here to pickup my order. No friendliness/professionalism. I always say hello and thanks to them, but they really don’t care about customers.
2. using dirty hands to make pizza. do not scratch your head nor touch anywhere while making pizza. I was disgusted
3. if I added topping I expect reasonable amount. part of the pie has 2 out of 6 toppings i added. i see 1 pepperoni in each slices, 2 or 3 pineapples, 1 or 2 jalopenos etc.
4. Old delivery driver was very friendly and nice though even though he could not speak english well. at least this guy was willing to help. maybe he should become a manager.

During my visit, I noticed several hygiene and customer service concerns. One of the staff members (very old person) was coughing while preparing food, and another employee who handled the toppings was not wearing gloves and frequently moved between food preparation and handling transactions and other tasks without washing their hands.
Additionally, when the pizza came out of the oven, the tray was dropped onto the floor because it was too hot to handle, and I’m not sure whether it was cleaned before being used again. The overall atmosphere also felt unfriendly, as the staff appeared disengaged and unhappy to be there.
Overall, the experience left me uncomfortable with the cleanliness and professionalism of the establishment.

Ordered a large 3 topping pizza. Pepperoni, mushrooms and jalapeños. No joke, had to look really hard to find a few pepperonis on this pizza. And there were a few very tiny pieces of mushrooms. Of course the pizza was covered with plenty of jalapeños!
If you want to offer a special on your pizzas, PLEASE DONT. because this place clearly doesn’t understand honoring their own brand and advertising. Not sure if it’s Papa Johns policy or just this store to cheat people out of their orders!

If I could give negative stars I would. This is by far the worst Papa John’s I’ve ever been to and that’s saying a lot because most of them are terrible as it is. Every time I order it takes over an hour longer than the estimated time to get my food. The tracker doesn’t update. Service is terrible. No one is around to give you the food. The visit today I went after the estimated time, and they said it would be 25 more minutes. The app took an hour to update to show ready so I went back and they said that they cancelled my order! Never received pizza and the refund didn’t apply. I’ll have to dispute the charge with my credit card.

Darkest burnt pizza, ordered as normal bake and original NOT thin crust, I’ve ever seen in my life. I took a literal video and pics of this crispy brown and black disaster and shared with friends. Before this, I called to request the sauces I paid extra for (they always miss them) and Parm cheese to substitute for Mozz, and this took 2 calls bc dude hung up randomly first, and it sounded like it was all too much for him to deal with. Called back upon receiving a large topping covered BURNT cracker instead of a pizza… Same rude “manager” offers NO apology and blamed the oven and the GrubHub driver, anything but his ineptitude by sending a pizza looking like this catastrophe to leave the restaurant…. and offered nothing to help, complained that I called 3x, took zero responsibility, just said to contact GrubHub. Even laughed when I said hey man this is all your bad. 30 bucks after tip for a 12″ burnt, inedible pizza, 1 small drink and 2 sauces. Wild times fam! Dinner ruined.

Can we take a vote to have this place shut down???? I just went today 5/9/23 to pickup my order few minutes after maximum due time and they wanted to make me wait another 30 mins or so. Zero apologies!! I’ve never been so angry after one of their employee’s response.
I really want this place shut down or the owner to contact me IMMEDIATELY.
Currently I’m contacting PAPA JOHNS customer service and their HQ to make complaints to them.
