Stopped by this unassuming little restaurant on my way back to Wichita. Ordered a Carne Asada burrito with beans and rice inside, and boy was I surprised. As I told the lady, it was the best I had had in a long time. Salsa with chips was tasty as well! Not your ordinary restaurant salsa. I took home a medium container as well. Pricing was very reasonable. I plan on stopping here next trip through Dodge City! Highly recommend!

This is the first place I have eaten at in a long while that I didn’t leave feeling that I could have cooked better. The food was so good, authentic, and flavorful that I left so happy, full, and excited to return. Being I’m from Texas, I’ve only eaten here twice, but both visits were very good experiences, and if I’m in Dodge, I will be eating here again. Love the real Mexican flavors you find there. Delicious!

I ordered take out so didn’t sit in the restaurant! We have been traveling around Canada and the US. This restaurant makes the best Mexican food we have eaten so far! We had Chile Rellenos, Ceviche, and Enchiladas Suizas. So good. So good! The service was excellent as well. Food ready in 15 minutes. I wish I lived around to eat more!

Best authentic Mexican food I was able to find after a friend recommended this place. On our way from Breckenridge Colorado to Oklahoma city we stopped here and I had the wonderful burrito and wife had the quesadilla.
Our Coke bottles were made in Mexico that means real sugar not that high fructose corn syrup.
My burrito was made to order using ground beef.
Wife’s quesidilla had fine steak that was not all chewy and tough. It was fine and soft.
Small little restaurant very great food and service. Quesidilla was unlike any you find in typical restaurants. This was made so well and wonderful. Be sure to say Gracias to the kind workers that make this wonderful food and experience.
I might make the 5 hour drive back just to try another dish.

Some of the best Mexican cuisine I’ve ever had. The entrees were large and made to order, and clearly made by people who love to make good food.

Small local owned place with great authentic food. I especially liked the shredded beef and potato. You pick your items then pay for each one. I sepnt about $15, but I tried several things. Thanks for being so friendly our first time in !

Let me use a well-worn phrase here: when you walk into El Kordita, “you’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto!” This is a small restaurant in Mexico, and you’ve been quickly transported South of the border.

I walked in on a Sunday evening, there where five tables of customers. All were speaking Spanish. A good sign, if you are looking for the authentic stuff. The tortillas are hand made, the tamales also. (I uploaded photos of a tamale as served and as unwrapped.)

On some nights it’s buffet – eat all you want, other nights it’s cafeteria style where each dish has a price.

If you are stopped in one of the hotels on the North side of Wyatt Earp, head south of the border, across from Quality Inn. Worth the trip!
