I absolutely loved this place!! The service was fantastic! They were so kind and seemed happy to be there! The tacos were FANTASTIC! They tasted EXACTLY like the street tacos I’ve had in Mexico! The cilantro and onions and all the fixings come on the side, so definitely ask for the full options! Loved, loved, loved!

The best birria tacos you will get around here! I go probably once a month to at least one of there locations! Authentic and friendly service! I can’t say enough good things! They are very quick! I’ve never had my order take more than 10 mins. Owner is friendly and willing to take orders ahead of time to help with convenience. Te quiero TAQUERIA LA MEXICANA <3

I had the birria tacos from this truck and their other location at the Chevron station about five times during my recent two week visit to Ruston. I could not get enough. I live in New York City where we have some of the best Mexican food in the country and these Ruston tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had.
The tacos at the truck downtown and the one by the Chevron station are exactly the same. Just note that the Chevron station one is cash only. The downtown location has a nice outdoor seating area as well.
