We went tonight and made reservations for 6pm. Came in a little early (5:30) and they sat us down for us reservations at the sushi bar. And when I tell you this is the most interesting and entertaining experience ever I mean it. Especially the staff behind the Bar: Kyle, Andrew, and Ben. They answered all our questions and even let us take pictures. They were great but the food was EVEN BETTER. The Barcelona (which wasn’t on the menu at the time we order it but Kyle made it fresh) was to die for. When I tell you the quality of the meat and the freshness was unbelievable. Ben told us, as he filleted at least 50 pounds of Blue Fin Tuna, that this fish was swimming in the oceans surrounding Mexico no less than TWO DAYS AGO. Is beyond me. This place is outstanding and I would recommend this place if you want a night you will NEVER forget.

Had a fun meal, sat across from Ben and Ike who did great with our food. Great way to end the day, very solid sushi and fun combos. Really liked the Yuzu Dragon roll! Though funny enough, kinda wish there was some wagyu fried rice available! Will be back!

Super fresh, excellent sushi. We opted for the fixed menu that was $65/pp. Awesome value. Loved every course. We were upstairs and it was quieter with some 2-person and longer tables. Downstairs is the bar and community seating. Was pretty busy there as we left at about 6PM on a Tuesday.

Great service, great ambience, and getting to sit at the sushi bar was so cool! The menu offerings were delicious, especially the mochi with miso honey butter. Definitely coming here again the next time I am in town.

Izakaya Sushi & Ramen is an incredible dining spot, especially on Monday Ramen Night! Their vegan ramen was absolutely to die for—rich, flavorful, and satisfying in every way. The fried cheese curds were a revelation, with a perfect crispy exterior and soft, melty center that left us wanting more.
The mochi dessert was the true star of the show—delicate, chewy, and bursting with flavor. And don’t skip the spice bombs—they added a fantastic kick to the meal, taking the flavors to the next level.
The service was another highlight. Despite ordering through an iPad, the servers were attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease. They checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, striking the perfect balance between efficiency and warmth.

First time visit was fantastic. Abby was masterful at handling our group of 9 hungry hombres. Favorite rolls were Alpin Glow & Red lady. Hamachi app was outstanding as well.

One of the best Japanese meals I’ve ever had. We sat at the sushi bar and let the chefs guide us through the process and it was spectacular. We’ve had Michelin meals that were worse than this. We’ve had sushi in Japan that was worse than these. Really blown away. The perfect complement to a day of skiing!

We came here for ramen night and were extremely impressed. The vegetarian broth and noodles were delicious. The tofu texture was exquisite. Loved the options to add sweet potato, corn, veggie dumplings, and pineapple. The servers were friendly and attentive. Only area for improvement would be that only one of the four eggs we ordered was truly “jammy” (the others were overcooked). We will definitely be back!

Went for the Ramen only dinner (Monday evenings), and it was absolutely delicious. Service was quick and attentive, and the ambience was delightful. Everything we ordered – appetizers, drinks, and all the ramen add-ons were amazing. This will certainly be a fixture on my Crested Butte visits.
