Hands down the best birria taco spots in the lower mainland. The tacos are packed with tender, flavorful meat and that rich, slow-cooked birria taste that you can tell was done properly and NOT OILY. The tortillas are perfectly crisped, loaded with just the right amount of cheese, and dipped in that insanely good consommé that takes everything to the next level.
Portion sizes are generous, prices are fair,ANS full of flavor without being greasy. Love the sauces as well!
On top of the food, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the vibe of the place makes you want to sit, eat, and enjoy every bite. If you’re a birria fan (or even if it’s your first time), this spot is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back and recommending it to everyone I know.

Great HALAL TACOS!! Their Birria tacos with consomé is to die for!! Such juicy beef! They have chicken too which is definitely good, but beef took the crown from me. Fantastic vibes in the restaurant, too bad they ain’t open on the weekends. But their taco truck is out on weekends. I would highly recommend this, it is some of the best HALAL Mexican food, available in the lower mainland. Slightly on the expensive side, but definitely worth a try and I am definitely coming back. And it’s my mom approved lol, she loved it!

Holy Taco blew me away! The birria tacos were rich and flavorful, and the consommé paired perfectly. The churros had that ideal crisp, and the rice and beans felt homemade. I loved that they offered onions both with and without cilantro—thoughtful touch! The quesadillas were perfectly crispy, and the salsas added the right kick. Plus, sipping a glass bottle of Coke with that authentic Mexican vibe—unmatched. The staff’s warmth and hospitality sealed the deal!

The Holy Taco Food Truck (& Mexican Eats) – as a girl with a deep enough passion for tacos I opted for a forearm tattoo of a taco – I approve these tacos lol.
Absolutely unreal! Saw them in Hope at the Brigade Day events and couldn’t have been more pleased. Overall the food truck line up at the Brigade Days event(s) was wicked good and offered a wide spectrum of eats. Mo Bacon was there, Hunky Bill’s Perogies, Yellow Bear Mobile Grub – to name a few.
I had the “open taco” and chose the “beef birria”, although they do offer vegetarian and a “special chicken birria”. It was $9.50 and came with consume. Hands down, I would pay that price all day long and for as many as they had on deck. Super friendly, energetic and passionate staff. Quick to pump the food out and served hot. My partner caught me drinking the consume and told me I shouldn’t be allowed in public places that offer food
It was slightly raining, I had my baby strapped to my chest, it was busier then I anticipated and I waited until I was Hangry to jump inline at one of the many food trucks. The Holy Taco saved my day and quickly became the highlight of my day. Don’t get me wrong, the cars crashing into each other were fun to watch, but I stayed for the tacos.

Had a delicious quesabirria from the food truck! They happened to be outside the Beaumont Studios and the tacos smelled delicious. 2/$16 – super crispy and tasty. Loved the sauces and consommé.
