I pulled up to the drive-through and a man answered. I’ve ordered from him multiple times and knew he wasn’t the friendliest person. I asked for an Oreo shake, which then he chuckled and said OK and pull up to the window. But when I got to the window, he said “unfortunately, no” and then kept on repeating that he already filled the machine up. I’m not sure what that meant and I don’t think he did either. It was very apparent that he was lying. I just said OK and thank you and drove off. I’m usually the type of person to avoid conflict and let it slide, but I wasn’t having a good day and was looking forward to this.

I don’t get this Jack in the Box. At night, it appears they take an order at the drive thru, then cook that order, give it to the person that ordered it, and then takes the next order in line.

Why do I think this? Because as I write this, I’ve been in line for 22 minutes. There were three cars in front of me. Two have gone through. The third car is at the ordering screen and has yet to give his order. He pulled up and I heard the worker say “hold on” about 8 minutes ago.

It would literally be less time to leave and go to the Jack in the Box in Pinole Valley one stop over, but there’s a car in back of me so it’s going to be a nice round 30 minutes before I reach the ordering screen.

It’s been like this for a while now, and the most curious thing is why I come back here thinking it’ll be different next time.

Ahh. I have reached the screen and was told to wait one second. The person there didn’t turn off her mic, so I can hear her talking to herself for the last couple of minutes. Dear Lord please send a giant meteor to hit my car.

Update: the worker told the person in front of me at the pickup window that “the guy just quit”. It appears there really is just one person here. Is this place constantly understaffed?

Anyway, we arrived here a little before 2 am and it’s now 2:38 am and we haven’t given our order yet.

2:41 am. We have reached the pickup window. There are two people. They repeated back to me what they thought I ordered and did not get a single part of my order correct. Attempting to correct this.

2:44 am. They asked me to remember what I saw on the ordering screen behind me. Problem: they asked me to pull up to the pickup window before all the items I ordered were on the screen. They still haven’t started making our food. I have no idea what they were doing for the last 2-3 minutes. This was the last straw.

In 45 minutes the Hercules Jack’s have filled just three orders. We have a mean suspicion that whoever is left working here are not cooks and are trying to figure out *how* to cook. I’d probably admire their effort more if the concept wasn’t so terrifying.

We have decided, after a little over 45 minutes in line, to leave without completing our order and go to the next Jack in the Box 3 minutes away.

I don’t know who owns this Jack’s franchise but corporate seriously needs to take this back.

A family member constantly goes to this location on a specific day and time and the outcome is always good. The employees are nice and friendly. Food preparation is ok. Restaurant is clean and fast service.

I visited the location at 3800 San Pablo Ave Bldg A, Hercules, CA 94547 this morning to grab breakfast on the way to my office and ordered a supreme croissant sandwich. Once I got to my office and unwrapped it imagine my surprise when I saw a half eaten sandwich neatly wrapped and placed in my bag. Not only is this unacceptable behavior but is completely unsanitary and a piss poor reflection of the employees which thereby reflect on the corporation. To make matters worse trying to give feedback on their site only results in multiple crashes due to a poorly developed script and the inability to even leave any feedback at all. Trying to use the phone number provided above is also absolutely useless. As a corporation you really need to take a step back and figure out how to improve not only your customer relations but also your profile as a whole.

I don’t know how one visit to this place has the hottest food and the next visit you’ll wait ten minutes for them to serve you cold fries and not give you everything you ordered. They are consistently the slowest fast food place. And I can deal with that if they always served hot fresh tasting food. But what am I waiting on when you clearly didn’t cook the food recently?

I’ve been visiting this Jack for years and really had no issues until recently… The drive thru employee needs a refresher course on welcoming and speakly clearly. The young man (You with the nose ring) needs better people skills. Please train him. I ordered 2 tacos and they were cold and the cheese tasted like it just came out of the refrigerator. Those issues can be fixed. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again. ️

Ordered food from drive thru. This location made a bad decision and had an extremely pregnant employee work the window. She was unable to hand over food or change from transaction. On top of that, I noticed some of my food was missing once I was 4 cities away. I had to drive back to get my missing food. Only 1 in line me and it took over 12 min for someone to help me inside. Not to mention cooks down to the janitor was so grumpy. Just mad at the world! Omg! Terrible experience!
