I am stingy with five stars. If I give it five stars, that means if I’m in that town, I want to go there again! He calls his dishes shushie. I don’t know, but I am not usually a big fan of sushi, and this food was great! Great! We had a lovebird special and it was several courses all served special cocktails. The wine was flowing. The atmosphere is small and intimate. There were only eight people in the whole place the night that we went. The restaurant might fit 16-20. If it were completely filled. From the way that they do everything, it is obvious that is what they want it to be. The experience is interactive with the chef explaining each dish. The server (wife) brought each dish with a unique and fun presentation. I can’t say I’ve ever had a meal like this. It was so fun and interesting! And, to top it off, the food was excellent!

This is an experience! Don’t view it as just a restaurant because it is so much more! Very unique offering. Chef Frank and Nikki create a truly one of a kind evening complete with several courses, depending on your choice. The food is inventive to say the least, and I don’t believe you’ll see many repeats of recipes as they base the menu on what is in season, in stock or what seems interesting at that moment.
From the minute we walked in, we were greeted as old friends. They knew our names (you provide this) and had great conversation starters for each of us. We sat down, and immediately felt at home and excited! Our first course came out — !! Wow!! I was not expecting that, and I will not spoil the fun, but let’s say that they were ingredients that I would not think would go together and yet they did! The evening continued at the same pace. The wine flows beautifully and is delicious!! Reminded me a lot of a certain Caymus wine that I love!
Everything was amazing, and we made fast friends with our dining mates, who were celebrating a special birthday. They seat around 12 people, so you’ll make friends with others that evening, which also adds to the charm.

Chef and Nicky went above and beyond to make the night feel truly special, adding thoughtful personal touches and offering really attentive service. Nicky was responsive and super communicative weeks leading up to our reservation. She made sure all our dietary restrictions were accounted for.
The food was amazing, every dish was unique, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Chef is truly creative with his work. The cocktails were also incredible and perfectly paired with the meal. All my girls were blown away, and this dinner really kicked off the night to a great start! Sharing a birthday with my sister in law we decided to have an experience. I did not fully get the concept of the restaurant when I saw it online. But we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. This small little gem has so much character, just like the chef and his wife. Not only was the food delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the close conversation with the chef about his inspiration of each roll was extravagant. This is definitely something you should experience. 100% recommend this place.

Make sure you are hungry for the 11 dishes!
Also better to go there in Uber. The location is not so great so avoid parking there with your nice sport car ^^
