Atmosphere & Service:
This was my second visit to Inka Grill, and I loved it just as much as the first time. The space has a warm, family-friendly feel with cozy booth-style seating that makes it easy to settle in and relax. One of the fun touches is the life-sized fuzzy alpaca greeting you at the entrance. There were also soccer games playing on the big-screen TVs, which gave the restaurant a lively, welcoming vibe. The service was attentive and friendly, making the overall experience even better.

Food:
This time, I ordered the chicken chaufa, a fusion of Chinese and Peruvian cuisine. It’s essentially a Peruvian-style fried rice packed with flavor, tender chicken, and well-seasoned ingredients. I also added a side salad and plantains to round out the meal. The portion size was very generous, the bowl of chaufa was huge! Everything tasted fresh, filling, and satisfying.

Overall, Inka Grill delivers flavorful food, hearty portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back again.

The place is not a ‘traditional’ restaurant decor wise, however it is nice and the food is very good. It seems is always a little slow, there is no wait time. I have been there twice and both times i was seated right away even with party of 5. The service is decent. I will go back if I am in the area. I have had different plates both times and they were both good.

We loved this place! The restaurant has great ambiance and the food was amazing. We came on a Saturday night before it got busy and there was live music as well as the UVA football game on, so we really couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely come back!

Great food. Was 3 of us. Daughter had the seafood soup which was fabulous. Hubby had the seafood paella, excellent! And I had a chicken with creamy mushroom sauce. Very good too. But I’d go for the seafood paella next time. Super delicious! It was dead when we went in on a Thursday late afternoon. One guy doing it all it seems. Food was excellent, definitely recommend.

We have been a regular here but this is my first time leaving the review. We traveled to Peru for 3-4 weeks so we could say this place has pretty close food we got. However, today good was quite different – either lacking flavor or too salty. The service was ok – staff was on the phone despite we were in for lunch and it wasn’t busy or anything. We would come back again but it is no longer deserve a top place in our heart

This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a back corner, the partitions and landscaping make the place feel quiet and calm inside of the otherwise bustling fifth street station. We dined outdoors with our pup and enjoyed the artificial turf in the patio seating area which provided a comfy experience and scaled the patio decor up a notch. There is a beautiful view of the Pantops/Carter mountains in the distance which is obscured at other businesses. The bistro lights and trees in “the yard” (pedestrian dining area) skirt the dining patio which gives a European vibe. The menu was great, including both traditional Peruvian and international cuisine including pasta dishes. With the 1/4 chicken dinner and choice of two sides, even the pickiest eater will find satisfaction. We watched as two children excitedly pet the funky Llama statue in the lobby. The food was beautifully plated and cocktail was garnished. They brought smaller plates in addition to the entree plates to allow for sharing or “family style” dining. For all these reasons I had to rate 5 stars.

A hidden gem in 5th Street Station, Inka is a great spot when you’re craving something flavorful and a little different. The decor feels authentically Peruvian, adding to the whole vibe and making it a fun place to sit and enjoy your meal.

The food is a delicious fusion of Spanish and Italian influences, with standouts like the green linguini — rich, herbaceous, and super satisfying. The mixed seafood ceviche is bright, refreshing, and honestly kind of addictive. Fresh, zesty, and perfectly balanced.

Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.

We stumbled upon Inka Grill by mistake. It was the best mistake we’ve ever experienced. The service was very attentive and kind. Especially with the fact that we had all 5 kids with us. I was not expecting to be wowed but when everything was in modern plates and designs and tasted well, I couldn’t resist. The beef was cooked perfectly and the shrimp was not over cooked. Delicious slices and presentations. This is a must do experience. A true gem!

Food was great and came out quickly. I went in the afternoon and it was pretty dead. Our server kind of disappeared into the back so we had to go up and ask for things like utensils and water. Besides that everything else was wonderful. I’ll be back again to try some different items on the menu.
