I was in town for work, and I stayed at The Karol Hotel before flying home. I stopped in to the Katch Bistro bar/lounge for after work drinks and a meal. Carly was the bartender, and she provided exceptional service. In addition to providing great service, she had an understanding of the drink and food menu that was superior. When I return for work, I will definitely stay at The Karol, and I hope Carly will be working. Top notch service as well as the understanding of the menu and drinks she was delivering has garnered my future loyalty. Awesome job!

If you’re not sure which restaurant to choose for dinner tonight, the answer is simple. Dine here for mocktails and cocktails expertly crafted by bartender Carly. Start your meal with roasted Brussels spouts, fried deviled eggs (just trust me), and coconut shrimp. Your server, Dulce, will make sure you have everything you need. The Chef put together a fabulous vegetarian plate of gnocchi, crimini mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach for the vegetarian in our group. All the chef’s meals were scrumptious. The salmon, the pork chop, the fish and chips, the steak and the freshest of salads. All excellent. Taj and Dwight made sure our double birthday party was extra special. We highly recommend Katch Bistro at the Karol.

Very nice place! Was quiet on a week night, but our party had a great time. The brussel sprouts were phenomenal. And the lobster pieces in the lobster mac and cheese were huge! The server Renee was awesome. The chef and his assistant came out to our table to check on our meal. Fantastic service and delicious food. Would come here again!

I am staying at a different hotel but I came here to eat because it had good reviews and the menu and cocktails looked better than my hotel. I sat at the bar and I’m so glad I did. Carly served me and she was so pleasant. She gave me great recommendations, which I went with, and was not disappointed. I got the fresh grouper for dinner and the blueberry crumble cheesecake for dessert and they were both amazing. I also ordered an old cocktail they were no longer advertising called the Smokey Love and she made it perfect. Highly recommend this place in general but if you’re going to go, go sit at the bar and see Carly! You won’t be disappointed!

Went here for a birthday dinner. Food was great and servers were friendly. Champagne grouper was the standout entree. Drinks were good but we went upstairs for after dinner drinks and had better ones at that bar.

This meal was AMAZING! I had the chopped Cobb Salad. This is the presentation of it. All of the chopped lettuce was on the bottom. Super fresh and very tasty. I could only eat 1/4 of this and took the rest home. Great smoked ranch dressing. For dessert we had an amazing key lime pie. Two bars of the key lime with a fresh
dulce de leche in the middle. The sides were pecans and crushed graham crackers and a raspberry topping. We had fried green tomatoes to start. The presentation knocked our socks off but the flavor was outstanding!! Great meal and prices too. Everyone needs to try this place!
Oh, if you go, ask for Zac. He did a fantastic job telling us about the food. He definitely loves his job! They need to keep him!

Impeccable service and smiles the moment you walk in the hotel and nicely decorated bistro. Zach our terrific server brought us an Old Fashioned & Fresh as a Daisy cocktails which were excellently prepared. To dine, the Short rib & sausage bolognese earned raves. The Bistro burger has the most insanely delicious fries. Basically inhaled them first and pretty much enjoyed them more than the burger, which was still very good. Everything super fresh and high quality all around. Plus the rooftop bar is chill vibes with an easterly panoramic view of Tampa in the distance. An excuse to enjoy another cocktail!
