I have been lucky to enjoy Baba’s special, very soulful and scrumptious food many times now and loved every one! 🙂 The staff are so wonderful and their food is amazing. Rose is truly beautiful and her curries are the same <3 Thank you all at Baba's for the excellent service, smiles & cuisine :)

Pleasantly surprised with the food and the service. We ordered the malai kofta and palak paneer, both mild, and they came out mild and delicious! This will be our go to spot for Indian food when in Seymour. Thank your Baba’s kitchen!

Food was delicious. Found this place on our way back from a long road trip.
Their tandoori chicken was delicious and so were the curries. We tried the lamb buna and butter chicken with Rotis.

We have eaten here several times now and have also purchased take away. We have not been disappointed any time.
The food is always fresh, and delicious. They are happy to cater for changes to the dishes, such as added or excluded ingredients.
The staff are always helpful and friendly.

REVIEW:
Had such a great, accommodating experience here. We booked a month in advance for 15 people. They rearranged their little diner to fit us all on one side, and on the night they turned customers away because I overheard the “chef was busy”.
The level of dedicated service was much appreciated by us – as we got our food in a timely manner. Especially for a large group like us!
Although the lady was appreciative of us stopping by, we were grateful to have her and her hospitality for the night.
Their food is pretty good and very homely. Worth stopping by Baba’s Kitchen because they’re great.

For the first time I found an Indian restaurant that is decent and clean, and it’s not even in Metropolitan Melbourne. Baba’s special chicken if definitely a must try. Has surcharge for card payments.

I’d actually give it 4.5 stars. The starters were complimented with well made sauces. The Samosa itself was good though just a bit on the spicy side for my taste. The garlic naan was not as garlic but it was alright because I feel it shouldn’t overpower the flavour of any curry. I got myself the Mushroom Do Piazo which was lovely. Everything was well priced for the great quality. I’d come back here again.

Got the babas special chicken, butter chicken and simosas takeaway with naan and rice. Everything was delicious and the simosas and butter chicken was the best we’d ever had!

Dal makhni was not bad but tandoori roti was very thick & fat just only raw flour . I ordered food for family members but they didn’t like it. Thanks ☺️

Unfortunately yesterday(Friday 17th January 2025. My neighbour got food poisoning from the Lamb Korma. I couldn’t eat it, cause as soon as I opened lid, I smelt an “off” smell, and I just couldn’t, I threw my half in bin. I also got Mango chicken curry, not even a tiny taste of mango in it at all. It was just a hot curry, which is not what I wanted. The only thing edible, was the plain rice and the mango lassi drink. $66 spent, and was inedible. When we first walked in last night, about 8pm. A lady started to serve us, but then walked off and didn’t return because my neighbour was looking at what to order, so I rang bell, and got served by a lovely man. He was great. We have eaten here before, I ordered same things, but it was nothing like first time we came. The lamb karma was 100% off meat, it smelt that bad, I thought they’d put a heap of parmessan cheese in it. So I must admit, I can’t eat here a third time now, cause I basically threw $66 in the bin. I’m sorry I have to leave this review, but my neighbour is still sick, and that was all we had eaten yesterday, so we know it was the korma, because I eat Indian food ALL the time, but never smelt a Korma that smelt rotten like this did.
