Best bahn mi in Salt lake/Utah valley. I’ve tried just about every place that sells bahn mi and Creme de Bakery has the best. The bread is the right type with the right texture (rare in utah) and the fillings have the correct taste. They are great tasting. I can’t help but buy two even when I should really only need one.
They are also a great Asian bakery with good selection of bun and cakes which are, for the most part, tastier than similar ones that you can find at 85C/ Tous or other the Asian style bakeries in SLC. A couple have been misses for me but the majority have hits. Love their strawberry cake.
They also sell boba tea type drinks which were pretty good.

Love this bakery! One of the best in SLC! Been coming for years and the ham and cheese buns are to die for! Kind owner today gave me an extra bag of buns! I will always recommend this bakery to everyone!

Very nice experience, banh mi was dang delicious. Probably one or if not the best I’ve had in Utah.
Cake was super delicious as well. Fluffy and perfect.

Softest, beautiful golden buns at an affordable price by lovely business owners.
I couldn’t get over the quality of the bun dough. As a meat bun lover, this has been my favorite in Salt Lake City in over a decade. Whoever makes these is an artist!
Not only are the buns soft and delicious, but affordable and made fresh. The staff is so nice and they run such a hidden gem in Utah. Ni surprise they’ve been around for so long.
Go support local and grab some buns, desserts, boba, or anything from their menu!

My husband bought me a birthday cake here. It looked amazing and I was excited to try it. He told me in the end he paid about $50 for it so I was expecting a really yummy cake. Sadly I was wrong. The cake was dense and dry. When my husband cut into it he said he could feel the knife hit every layer. The frosting was just whipped cream. The lack of flavor was just sad. I would not recommend getting a cake here. Maybe I’ll go back and try a savory pastry but I doubt it.
Update. I did NOT say the cake cost $50 I said he ended up paying $50 get it right. He’s a good guy who tipped. And yes I prefer to not eat dry disgusting cakes .

Hadn’t been here before, have passed by tons of times. So I stopped to see what they had, various pastries and rolls with chicken or pork inside. They also do cheesecakes and specialty cakes. It was a change, it was different, it was good.

Ordered 2 Bánh mì. They were not like what I used to have the first time. The owner May put a lot of mayonnaise and cucumbers and less meat.
Ordered 3 boba drinks but they were disappointed. Extremely sugary and bitter at the same time. Will never come back for sure!

Just had the most pleasant experience here! I went in looking for coconut buns and a fruit cake. They were out of the bun, but they assured me that they could save me some if I went called ahead and they would put it aside so it doesn’t run out. I went ahead and tried the passion fruit cake, and oh my goodness! It tasted like a fluffy cloud! Yumm, the passion fruit is not overwhelmingly sweet. Can’t wait to come back soon and try the buns!

5/12/22: You can order birthday cake the day before and pick up the next day. The birthday cake taste good but not too special. However, we definitely like it better than American overly sweetened and sugary cakes.
Now onto the best thing about this bakery: you HAVE TO try their pastries. They bake fresh, yummy pastries! I highly recommend the corn, cheese and sausage. All toppings and fillings taste good so just pick a variety and you will find your favorite.
About the banh mi, it actually tastes really good, I would even say it’s the best banh mi that I have tried so far here in Utah. However, I wish it would have been bigger. The banh mi’s size is actually quite small.
